Yo dude if you're lookin for anymore scary mods/mobs to add, i worked on my first mod ever and its called "Beware the rain". It adds a single mob to the game that has a low chance to spawn during rain, if he spawns he will chase down the nearest player. While chasing a player he occasionally flashes his face onto their screen and plays a glitch/scream sound. (It's made for Version 1.19.2 + 1.20.1 ) (It may be my first mod but I put as much effort into it as I could)

Loved the video. I do agree that adding too many dwellers and mobs can make it, well, an unplayable experience. But, if you have to add only one more, I highly suggest The One Who Watches. Compared to most of the "look at me and I spook you" Dwellers that exist, this one takes a more active role in stalking you from a distance much like End of Herobrine and From the Fog. I've been playing with Dwellers since the Cave Dweller and, generally, the One Who Watches is my go-to for an unnerving experience.

You're right when you said that too many dwellers are overwhelming. When you have so many they become less scary and they become just like regular mobs, but when you have just one or two super terrifying monsters the focus of the horror is on them and it increases the level of fear. For another video I recommend the wendigo dweller paired with an everlasting snow map, truly a terrifying experience! I also hope you get those pesky shaders working, but other than that, a great video! You have definetally earned my sub!

I've always thought the man from the fog should be able to crawl through one block gaps like the cave dweller, but breaking windows is insane lol. The darkness effect fits pretty well IMO. I think the mod they're talking about is "Sanity: Descent Into Madness" and it's for 1.18-1.20, but it just sounds annoying tbh. I wonder if the issue you're having with shaders could be a driver issue. If the game loads, but crashes when you open a world, maybe your graphics card just can't display it? I'd also recommend testing multiple different shaders to see if any work and to try shaders with no mods installed, because it could also be a memory issue and mods use a lot of memory, especially the man from the fog for some reason even when he's not there. How much RAM are you giving to Minecraft and how much is on your PC? (Asking because having too much can also cause crashes).

Hey, I know this may be a bit late but I suggest you add trapdoors from the inside of the house on the glass panes (full,clear glass blocks would probably suit better) but if you want you can add trapdoors from outside the glass so the man from the fog won't be able to break the glass. Just a small suggestion ya know but I haven't really tried it out on if the man from the fog can still break glass through trapdoors.. thanks for taking the time to make these videos ^^

While I get its a horror series of sorts, I would love to see more builds, that house alone is already beautiful, most definitely showing off your building capabilities imo.

Even if it’s ugly, I’d invest in piston powered shutters for all windows, ideally build so that they look good.

End of Herobrine I think is too severe, feels more like a "Challenge Mod". It also has stuff that lets you try to summon and fight him. If you wanna be busy fighting mini-bosses, then it'll work. From The Fog might be more interesting if you go into settings and go to the last page. You'll be able to toggle a setting that will adjust stuff for that Herobrine as you come back to the world. The Dweller mods don't quite feel scary; they feel like a nuisance since they're actively obstructing the gameplay. Alternatives or new mods? I don't know. You might want to try out these datapacks, - Spawn Animations (Mobs rise from the ground or pop into the map, making block noises as they do) - Fresh Animations (I think) (NPCs all receive animations and features that you might like, not sure if it'll help for immersion or not) If you want to do a new world at any point BUT want to make it not so "lived in"? - Check for No Villages, there should be something around - I use one that may say it's outdated but it works just fine. (Makes it a whole lot more eerie AND makes it relevant to cure villagers) - No Ruined Portals. (Less "Free Loot" and with their disappearance doesn't awkwardly dot the entire landscape like villages) I dunno, I just like the tension produced by the long term lack of any entity presence. Then when you forget about it OR are on the edge of your seat - BOOM something's there.

for your shaders issue I recommend trying to add optifine and remove Weather2 Ive had the same issue and It wouldn't let me have shaders when I had the tornado mod. It would just crash the second I loaded into a world It sucks because weather2 is my favorite mod now I just play without shaders

To use shaders (with optifine or sodium) you gotta use Optifine for forge and Sodium for fabric | and if you get shaders to work i recommend insanity shader it makes minecraft eerie (and at night its nearly impossible to see in the dark | scary amplifier X1000) | keep up the nice videos man! Another thing: You can install an ambient sounds mod to make exploration much more creepier and e.t.c.

4:34 after i heard the whistling i didnt know which mod added it and i decided to ignore it and google something.. I got so scared when i heard the chase music and when i turned around, i saw him. I had to hide in a very small hole with water (3 blocks deep) so i wouldnt die. The update made the man from the fog scarier and stronger

If they kept the other low tone scream when he's far away and changed it to the new screams the closer he gets to you with the heartbeat, atmosphere, etc that comes with this update,......then that would solidify a 11/10 from me as super scary 😅😱😱😱

A good map mod I use is xaero's mini map Edit: IMO if you add "The one who watches" get prepared for an absolute annoyance. Its literally just staring at you then poof its gone then you hear footsteps and boom hes right on you ready to tear you apart and thats it. Doesn't matter if you look at him since that does nothing, Its only if he gets near you. He is apparently getting an update soon so I hope it gets better than where it is now.

For the shaders, I suggest to NOT USE OPTIFINE. Optifine has many compatibility problems nowadays, and is pretty bad because of that. If you are on Forge, use Rubhidium (I think that's the name) and Oculus (Basicallu sodium+iris, but for Forge instead of Fabric) instead of Optifine. Those two basically are the "new" optifine, without all of the mod compatibility problems. If you use Fabric, use Sodium and Iris instead. I also suggest Insanity shaders if you think your PC is able to handle it. If not, use Complementary shaders, it doesn't lag much. Hope this helps!

As a shader developer, please tell me what you are running your mods on. I can see the list, but are you on Forge or Fabric? I stumbled upon your channel since im a dire fan of horror games, and you made a really nice scary mod pack. Ps: You should make a waste bin in your house. With a 1 block 2 deep with lava in the bottom and a trapdoor on top. That way you can dispose of items you dont want.

If it makes you feel better, I have noticed that with 1.20.1 of the fine has a problem and for some reason it’s not loading properly which causes the game to crash as soon as a world is loaded at least that is for me I don’t know if that’s the same problem you’re having but maybe one day we’ll figure this out.
