I've been listening to this song for about half my life, since middle school, and I only just now became aware of how insanely hot They used to be. Heck I'm roughly the age they were in this video, so maybe that makes perfect sense.

I love looking for the little details in this video, like the old man guitarist leaping into the air at 0:42. This may be one of the less surreal music videos that TMBG has put out, but it's still an amazing work of atmospheric framing and aesthetically pleasing footage. It's even more magical if you've actually been to that tunnel in Central Park. Love this one so much.

Christ. What a melancholic and beautiful song about divorce. I have no idea why but the music video, even if it doesn't imply much about the theme, seems eerily unfitting. Almost as if they were to contrast the lyrics. The "I didn't mean to say nightmare" part in particular.

Enfraa I remember crying to this as I listened to it on repeat during my break-up with my HS sweetheart 21 yrs ago. And yet I can still love this song. Watching a young Jogn Linnell singing & doing his adorable spaz dance makes me fall in love with the song over & over again & in a strange way makes that break-up an almost Happy memory. Weird, huh?

I'm a fan, and I looooove this song, but I want to hear it without manic/harsh synth sounds, and with instrumentation and arrangement that really brings it out, you know? Or maybe I'm totally wrong. I just watched the documentary "Gigantic", and maybe that's the charm? Happy about sadness?

i actually got to see where they filmed this! my birthday was pretty recent (may 1) and i went to nyc with my dad and we went to bethesda terrace! it was really cool and there were turtles in the lake they rowed boats in! i couldn’t stop freaking out about that lake because it was so unreal to see irl
