@@surbhitrao Its still going fantastic. Plus if for anything your watch goes haywire you can always replace the Seagull ST91, will cost you 4000 bucks. Its an enamel dial so the patina will be beautiful on the dials as decades go by.

Beautiful work done on dial ! Also the history attached to it .Price is a let down though. Sholavaram is great too, but a hefty price of 30k is a no-no. Beautiful ST1901 movement with a gooseneck,you can buy a sugess mech chrono with same movement in 18k (in Singapore but not is India😢) Also there are better watches in 30k price range - Seiko,Orient with their reliable in house movements. Ajwain deserves appreciation for making such beautiful dials ,they can be a great success if they can lower their price.

I disagree sugess cant be compared with ajwain becuase other than the movement the quality difference is very high in the dial as well the strap and ajwain watches are limited editions produced in very low numbers and seiko and orient dont offer any mechanical chronograph in the same price brachet comparing a time only watch to a chronograph is an apples to oranges unfair comparison

@@songoku-jx3cb i agree we have to support Indian brands but at what cost? This Chinese St1901 movement is available in bulk at Alibaba at 5k. This is the affordable entry level for mech chronographs. With Sholavaram, ajwain cannot justify their price of 30k on just limited edition dial and straps. Ill definitely consider it if its under 20k.

@@jadhavc look bro there are swiss brands that are selling their watches for way over 30 k with the same seagull movement you have to understand a watch is more than just movement the enamel dial , double curve sapphire crystal all cost money and these arent mass produced like seaguss Its how indian mindset is we will happily buy a swiss watch with 5k movement for 100k but not an indian brand which promotes indian heritage Just my thoughts i do own a sholavaram and i think its worth every rupee i spent on it

I do envy you,I can’t afford 100k watch , not even a 30k watch.It’s not about mindset it’s about affordability .My salary doesn’t allow me to buy Swiss movement watches😅,rather I’ll buy watches in 5-15k range as I am always collecting money to buy good quality but affordable watches like hmt and entry level seiko. HMT was the only one having cheap automatic watches but always out of stock. Ab ye micro brand aae he to inke bhi price hifi,hum garib watch lovers jae kaha 🥺

Brother I have a silly question. I'm kinda confused person in terms of wearing the watch in which hand. I'm left handed. Before I used to wear my watch on left hand, the leather and rubber bands watches never were a problem but the stainless steel watch which I keep little loose the crown used to hurt me at times. Now I have started wearing the watch on my right hand. Which hand should I continue to wear I'm confused. 😌 Guide

Left or right there is no restriction, normally watch is worn on left hand so that when you are writing something with your right hand the watch should not obstruct, stainless steel watches are jangly depending on the quality but you will get used to it
