Ubisoft saw the viral video "Sea Shanty Medley" that HF released. VIPs were so impressed that they reached out to HF to write an original pirate song for the game. Chance (baritone and covers bass) is the Sea Shanty guy that convinced the rest of HF to do it, so he wrote and arranged this and took lead in singing. This is the 3rd video...the first was a lyrical video with game footage, and the second was a live performace at an UBISOFT convention, then this original masterpiece video. If you haven't seen the Sea Shanty Medley, there is an official video that was put together during lockdown, then there was a professionally recorded LIVE video recorded at a concert which is amazing.

Tim is the bass and Chance is the baritone / bass. Chance wrote this and took lead.Chance loves sea shanties and everything to do with the sea and loves gaming.Ubisoft heard their Sea Shanty Melody and loved it so they approached Home Free with an amazing opportunity to write a shanty for Skull And Bones video game they are releasing soon Chance being the seafaring member jumped at the opportunity . Chance playing guitar Austin was playing mandolin and Adam with his amazing beatboxing 7 months ago they released a Lyric video and sang a shorter version live at Ubisoft Live Premiere for the game

That was Chance that was leading in the song and Tim was providing back up in this song. Both have strong bass, baritone voices. Tim is known as their bass singer but Chance covers bass when Tim is singing lead. Chance is the sea shanty enthusiast and wrote this original for Ubisoft, and so took the lead singing here. Fantastic song, love it. The girl is an actress brought in for the story which follows the idea of the game.

Home Free made a Sea Shanty Medley during the lockdown. Adam Chance who loves sea shanties persuaded the guys to do the video. The video went viral. It became especially popular in Asia where people used the music for dance challenges on TikTok. Ubisoft approached Home Free to make a sea shanty for their new video game Skull and Bones. Chance wrote the sea shanty Skull and Bones. This is the first official video of the song with Home Free.. There is a live version video where they perform a fragment of the song for a game convention. Also, fans filmed a live version during their recent tour in Europe. There is another version of the whole sea shanty with lyrics and supposed scenes from the game with sailing ships and pirates..

Tim is the low bass. Me Chanse wrote this song for Ubisoft. And it is so crazy. They sound like 10 people singing. That is how good these guys are. They are just absolutely insane. Best acapella group I have ever heard.

Chance wrote the song for the Ubisoft game of the same name. It’s a great song. There is a lyric video which shows the game in great detail. Chance is the first singer and Tim is in the background going insanely low. Love this!!! The game is supposed to come out Feb.16 so the boys dropped this video about 2 weeks before. Good reaction!😍💀☠

Finally the deserved video for this awesome song. Of course the video of the game and the live performance was great too, but this video is beyond amazing. Phenomenal how it looks. The Home Free guys as the perfect pirates. Especially Chance. If it were up to me, they could make a whole movie. The girl represents the gamer's adventure from a kid to captain of her own ship. What games do you play? I'm on the Monster Hunter revival right now, although I am not doing World, but Rise, which I didn't have time to play though when it came out, so I picked it back up. I like watching streamers, though.

Wasn't that great! We've been waiting for this official video by Home Free for awhile now. It felt like I was watching a movie. Home free is so talented & they can do any genre of music. Chance loves sea shanties & he wrote this song for the game "Skull & Bones". His deeper voice sounded great for this song. And of course all the background harmonies of the guys including Adam's fabulous vocal percussion.

5:30 Calling it chanting isn't too far off. A lot of the songs that got popular during the sea shanty crazy were not true shantys. See, (no pun intended) sea shanties were workman songs meant to both entertain and also keep the crew of a ship moving in unison during certain tasks that required cooperation to do quickly. There were 3 rhythms and speeds that were used if I remember correctly. Anything else is probably a folk song. A song could be a shanty *and* a folk song, but it had to have the right timing to be a shanty.

I was able to get into the closed beta and it was pretty good. The open beta is the 7th I believe - the 11th...You will want to double check those dates if you are interested. :) While I'm not a huge gamer (only been playing for about 11 years or so) I do enjoy a few games. Currently I'm playing FFXIV, that's about all right now. They do have a video with the words and some game play, then there is a live video from the Summer Games Fest. Anyway, if you play the game do enjoy! :)
