You can’t eat normally with these. You can only eat soft foods like yogurt, smoothies, ice creams, etc, but I don’t think you have them on for long

I only had to have two rubber bands on my braces. One on each side to close a gap between each of my top front teeth and the tooth right beside them. I hated having to wear them because they would make my mouth so sore. I always ended up taking them out halfway through the day because my mouth would be hurting so much and I was miserable. I can't imagine having this many rubber bands in my mouth! I assume she has to take them off every time she eats because how could she otherwise?!

Mine didn't, and I do have an overbite, it just didn't bother me so she didn't think it was necessary (thank god cuz I would've ripped them all off lol, no thanks XD) Plus I would've been so sad if it changed my jawline or side profile by pulling my jaw forward XD

If it makes u feel any better, I’m 35 and still think ab the time when I was a tragically awkward middle school girl with very oily skin and I had finally got the nerve to talk to a boy I was SERIOUSLY crushing on.. when I went to smile/laugh at something he said (which wasn’t even really funny 🙄🤦🏻‍♀️) a giant pimple near my mouth beside my chin essentially exploded like an angry pus volcano right at him... he screamed “omg ewww!!!” And ran away to never speak to me again and I melted into the ground to die deep in my soul due to embarrassment 🤣

I’m currently at that stage. My orthodontist said I’ll have my rubber bands in for another good two months or so if I’m consistent with wearing them. Mine aren’t as crazy as hers tho, I just have two little square shapes on each side in the back. Still sore, but I’m excited!

pureed in the blender. I had a dreadful dog bite attack and had mouth surgery so i couldnt eat. The hospital kitchen PUREED a whole thanksgiving dinner (turkey potatoes stuffing veggies gravy) in a lg metal milkshake container complete with a wide metal straw, I was a bit shocked BUT it was SOOOO delicious! that was 40 yrs ago!!
