God I miss Tammy. She was well on her way to the top when her young life was cut short. Marvin loved her.

Marvin Gaye was part of early Motown in the 1960's. He had a lot of great duets with Tammi Terrell such as "Ain't No Mountain High Enough", "Your Precious Love", “Heaven Must Have Sent You”, "Ain't Nothing Like The Real Thing", "If I Could Build My Whole World Around You" etc. Sadly Tammi died young in 1970 at the age of only 24. Marvin never got over her death.

They weregood friends,but MG was married to Berry Gordy's sister before a 1970 divorce.Tammi had a personal relationship with David Ruffin unfortunately he was physically assaulting to his girlfriend and tammi developed a brain tumor that took her life
