Or a lip palette with all of the colors, or smaller lip palettes with complementary colors. I love lip palettes because I love using different colors based on mood, and love using two or three at the same time kind of as flattering contouring.

Please make new lipstick more affordable for students/younger audiences, for example maybe at the age range from 16 to early 20s where we dont have a job yet or as much savings, im sure you have a ton of younger audiences too and its sad i cant collect them as i LOVE your lipsticks, please put this into consideration... almost 30 per lipstick is just too much 💔

Also it's pretty understandable that she isn't a big company owner and she has employees that need to be paid properly, that and getting a certain quality to her products are what determine the price point. 🙄

Hi Lisa, could you please do a video on how VERY cool-toned people can make warmer lipsticks work -- and vice versa? I really love your new shade Petal, but I've never been able to make a warm shade work on my bluey-white skin.

Yes! Cinnabar has been the shade that I've been wanting for all these years, ever since I had a very similar one in the early 90's, it's a shade that it isn't easy to find, that's why I purchased the trio including Velvet Jazz which reminded me of it, so La Eldridge finally brought it to life for me. Velvet Petal looks a lot like my all-time favorite lipstick-Tom Ford’s Spanish Pink-but in a tone that is more flattering for my olive skin. Can’t wait to get my hands on it!!!

One of my favs is Tom Ford’s Spanish Pink, so I like Velvet Petal also, unfortunately Velvet Beauty is a bit too dark or bluish on my fair neutral toned skin. I tend to go for more warmer tones, as they suit me better and match nicely with my green eyes.:)

What I don't understand is how all these lip colors look AMAZiNG on you! I'm sure they won't all look good on me. I wish though because I'd buy them all. As I get older and approaching my 40s I find myself using less eye shadow and varying my lipstick colors more. Nothing crazy and always keeping them either vampy burgundy lips, reds, browns or pinky browns.

Last year I got as a gift the Ribbon kit and one more of the lipsticks and I must say, after 10 years of wearing all shades of reds I have never worn a red lipstick as good quality and stunning of a shade as Ribbon was. The liner is also a must have with any of my reds, or by itself. Definitely looking forward to some new liners and lipsticks in my collection🙈

Thank you so much for showing lipsticks on different skin tones, it helps so much as a consumer-even (if your this makes sense) seeing it on different skin tones than your own. Somehow seeing the same color on a range of people helps really *see* the color as it’ll look in reality.

@@mgft8803 I would recommend Dragon-it’s more “wearable” as it contains more brown. Morning is a very punchy orange-red. I personally love them both, but I do use Dragon more. I hope it helps! I actually swatch Dragon on my own channel if you would like to see it. 😊

Hi Lisa, a lovely video to cheer me on a dreary day. The new shades are gorgeous, I love them all but as a Velvet Blush fan it has to be Blush Lightly for me. The perfect 'day' version of Velvet Blush. I have several of your lipsticks, liner and gloss and they are far superior to other products on the market. You can also get a feel for the love and care you have taken in creating them. You are a beautiful person both inside and out, and I wish you more well deserved success with your range. I’m so grateful you did comparisons for the two new nude(-ish) shades! I have both Muse and Fawn but there’s something always a bit off because of my warm/olive colouring! Petal and Intrigue, truly a gift for those who need to mix and match for those cooler tones! Not to mention Cinnabar!!! I adore Jazz but I can already tell this one is going in your Hall of Fame! @@jennyw.2693 I prefer that the foundation is available as sample cards before it goes on sale to ensure good shade matches and that customers can experience the formula first . The sample cards are launching this Friday with the lip launch and are free with orders. X

I get so excited for these launches! As a dark skinned woman I do stay away from the reds because they always look ashy on the darkest model. I do want to try the Cinnabar shade though. I've go two days to decide.

Awesome idea, especially for holiday gifts or self-gifts. I'd love a set with warm tones and also a set with cool tones. (I can't wear warm tones at all, looks awful on me, so I'd only buy a set of cool tones.)

So excited, Lisa, they look gorgeous! This will be my third year buying your launches and I cannot wait! I hope to see more comparison swatches of Cinnabar and Dragon as well as the nudes/neutral pinks side by side. I use the fairest model as a guideline and the swatches on her lips make the colors look very different to how they appear in the video/in photos.

That's been my experience too! The palest model is my guideline but the shades still don't turn out the same on me

@@ReneeC43 i notice that skin shade is not only thing to consider. You need to take into consideration your natural lips colour - mine even though I have fair skin are rather pigmented so usually pale lipstick colors turn out almost not noticeable, and bright colours/reds turn out darker...

@@ReneeC43 Same! I purchased Blush last year and it looks like a dark brownish mauve on me :( it could be my olive undertones, but I think I'm just a few shades paler than the model with the lightest skin tone so it doesn't really work as a reference for me.

Could you maybe swatch the different liners together? I would like to get Velvet Fawn and maybe add a little more pink by using either the blush lightly or muse lip liner but I'm not 100% sure how they compare to each other...

Plz launch an orange pumpkin color for us autumn and brown girls. Fenty just discontinued Sawc and there's almost no shade on the market in that direction. They all tend to be reddish.

Cinnabar looks so beautiful and velvety. I have nearly all of the velvet lipsticks and love to wear them even though to occasions were rare and I had more days without make up since the pandemic started than ever since my teenage years.

These shades are so beautiful! I can’t wait to wear Velvet Petal this winter! I’ve been waiting for Velvet Dragon to come back, but now I’m also tempted by Velvet Cinnabar! I have Velvet Jazz and wonder if I mixed that with Velvet Dragon (and maybe a bit of Velvet Decade), if I would get a shade similar to Cinnabar.

I’m excited but I would ask if possible can there be a few more shades that really flatter darker skins? These are great colors but I think it’s hard to make them work on darker skin tones without work (meaning liners that kind of tie it in). The nude tones look sooooooo pretty but I know they’ll just be too light. I bought Painterly, Spirited Away, & Rose Official and they were all too light in pigment for my darker skin which I was sad about 😫. Can’t wait for the foundation and love the brand with the work you put into every item.

I love EVERYTHING about your lipsticks Lisa- from how pigmented they are, to how comfortable and long lasting they are, to how gorgeous the shades are and how chic the packaging is. BUT, the thing that makes them truly unique and special are that the undertones that you have created have allowed me to wear shades that I never felt looked good on me before. All of my life, I've mainly stuck to mid-tone pinks because so few brown or peach nudes look good on me and the same for reds, dark berries & burgundy shades. Now, with your lipsticks, because of the unique and universal flattering undertones I can wear all of these shades AND I've been able to dip my toe into darker shades and lighter shades that I normally don't like on myself, but that work with your Velvet matte.. Lipstick has always been my favorite cosmetic and in my opinion yours are hands down the very best on the market, Congratulations on your expanded launch and thank you.
