actually it's easier for Democrats to win Ohio having many urban centers of comparable size. but the only problem is one would have to campaign in Cleveland, Columbus, Cinncinnati, Toledo, and Dayton to properly mobilize all those wells of democratic votes. It's not like, say, PA, where you have only Pittsburgh and the Philadelphia area, or Nevada, where it's Vegas....or even Georgia--Atlanta and Savannah.
