Honestly Joe has my respect, when I first started watching a few of his videos I just seen him as a normal content creator that made casual NBA 2K content. My expectations of him being a legit competitive 2K player was extremely low. But time after time he is proving to the 2K community to put respect on his name. It kind of feels to me like when G-Man wagered Tyceno in NBA 2K20, and I like how he makes scoring look so simple, especially against one of if not the best lockdown in NBA 2K24. He does not overcomplicate scoring or try to make his offense look fancy. He just goes get a bucket when needed.

You gotta take more middies bruh. You had so many opportunities for middy pull ups that first game. They were purposely pinching you cuz they know you go inside first, look to shoot second outside, and pass third. Gotta incorporate the mid range game more into your play, feel like it'll help out the flow of the offense morem

Middies are so underrated fr, people that dominate the mid range are the scariest since they usually hit threes as well, which makes them a threat everywhere from the paint to the three point line.

@@StrapK19 exactly, Im a center with a bit of ball handle and 92 middy no post control. I do hop shot mid ranges, spinning jumpers, step back middies, post fades (don't need the badge at all with a middy that high) and it's insane. Ill usually start off a game 4/4 just with my mid range then after that I just shoot from deep hash (28ft+)or spin cycle dunk (75 driving dunk is OP if used properly). My build is legit unguardable in the 3v3s or rec. Averaging like 24 ppg 15 boards in rec (shooting 67% from 3 and 79% from the field) and 10pts in 3v3 ProAm shooting 77% from 3 and 90% from the field.

@@bun2206 that's some crazy stats ngl. I'm a 6'7 small forward with 87 driving dunk, 87 mid-range and 80 three point. Bro when tell you this build destroys in rec I'm not lying 73% from three point and 81% field goal. With a 72 block I'm a beast when defending the paint. I play mostly in rec since I ain't got no one to play with in pro am. But sheesh this build destroys. I have noticed that you can sacrifice a bit on the three if you've got a great mid-range game since the badges help on three's too.

@@StrapK19 Yeah fr. I had another build with a 92 3 80 middy (exact opposite of my center) and both literally shoot the exact same. Some may argue "But what about limitless range?!" and honestly I don't even notice a difference lol. I'm shooting the same percentages from 3 on the same exact shots (I do faders occasionally as well, and even those feel the same on both builds)

@@bun2206 tbh I don't really get why people care all that much about limitless range, but I guess I can kind of see it cus I hit threes on the line since i ain't confident in 28f+ range. And you kinda don't need that much range if you choose your shots right. That's why I love 3-level threat builds so much. Since you can hit from anywhere. That's way better than shooting threes from your own side of the court.
