It’s literally just math there are 4 kings in a 52 card deck that mean a roughly 7.7% chance of getting one king when your holding one king that means there is 3 which leaves a roughly 5.8% chance your opponent is holding one king cut that probability in half for two kings leaves a roughly 2.9% chance he has two kings when you are holding one. So yeah having one king makes a difference when thinking about what it’s likely your opponent has. It doesn’t mean there’s no chance it does mean that it’s much lower than normal.

This is part of _why_ he has ludicrous wealth: He sweats the details. He could easily just have shrug-jammed there. But he knew that Nick's range in that spot is basically AA, KK and... that's it. He's probably flatting with QQ and JJ, and jamming AK. If Nick had 40k+ behind, maybe Double M takes a flop, and decides whether to call off at that point. But there's a big difference between _knowing_ what to do in that spot, and _actually_ doing it. Especially when you're tilted.
