You are about to witness trombone history. Today I've compiled my journey to speed running Nyan Cat as fast as humanly possible on the trombone. It took 15 days to work up to the maximum speed. Thank you to all who have supported me during this journey, you have much more to look forward to I promise you that!
Hope you enjoy the double tonguing, triple tonguing and quadruple tonguing on this one. Trying to make LingLing proud.
*IDK why this is showing up as a new upload. I've been updating old thumbnails and titles in addition to trimming some of the outdated "thank you" segments. I guess KZfaq just wants to give this video another shot? Let me know what you think hahaha.

While those last few speeds might not be "concert-ready", you're pushing yourself to these extreme "drills", essentially, that most of your peers probably aren't doing. Many people are just trying to get through their next assignment. And with the slide instead of valves, trombonists tend to have pretty critical ears. If you keep 150%-ing memes on the trombone, you're probably going to develop some otherworldly skills. You know, beyond being about to cross 100K subscribers as a trombonist. That doesn't seem like an easy thing to do on its own. Congrats in advance.

@@buffkangaroodog I see where you're coming from. And I don't think anyone would audition at Julliard or Berklee with this piece on trombone, even if they _could_ pull it off. Because in the end, this melody, performed on a trombone, falls into "stunt" category because no composer with a shred of human decency would scribe this melody for the trombone. It would just be a mean thing to do. It would be like performing Flight of the Bumblebee on a standard diatonic tin whistle. Technically possible, but if pulled off it would be more impressive philosophically than.... aurally. And even if it sounded perfect aurally... dude just pick an easier instrument, at the end of the day. But that's what I love about this stuff. Music for the masses, with a generous dose of "lol".

I was gonna make an anime "power levels" "total concentration breathing" reference joke but you're just on another level. It wouldn't be appropriate to make a joke here. Keep going you beautiful creature, follow your dreams.

When I saw the trigger mechanism, I admit that I was watching it closely. Either I missed the trigger pulls, or you did that all on the slide. Simply wow!

I already miss playing in the band don't make me miss it more!😭😂 I played Baritone horn for three years and my best friend played the trombone. We were awesome at it but he got out of it and my instrument was getting pricy so I had to quit band. Brass instruments just remind me how much I miss it.☹️ YOU'RE EXTREMELY TALENTED!🤩🤩🤩 sorry I seem like such a drag rn 😅
