@@ncwordmanthere is absolutely something wrong with religious people because holding irrational beliefs can lead to irrational acts like voting solely on the basis of your desire to control women and their reproductive organs because you think it’s what your particular god would like you to do or hearing god tell you to pray for your kid instead of taking him or her to the doctor. Or the person who hears god tell them to murder their child? Or the peoplewho think they’ll be in paradise with underage virgins if they crash airplanes into buildings. Yes I’d say there is quite a bit wrong with religious people. After all our beliefs don’t exist in a vacuum and many people who think magically as a lot of religious people do tend to make decisions and actions based on those beliefs.

@@moonshoes11 It can't be proven either way. Allow me to demonstrate the logic. Since God is supposedly an infinite being, a finite being would have to provide physical proof of an infinite being. That can't be done. So can't prove God exists. On the other hand, we can't prove a negative. So we can't prove God doesn't exist. Therefore, there is no definite answer. It is 1 divided by 0.

A finite being may not be able to demonstrate such an infinite being is indeed infinite, but logic doesn’t exclude it from demonstrating whether it currently exists. And by your standards, if God cannot be proven to exist, then anyone who claims one does is irrational. However, it is not irrational to hold the position one doesn’t exist if there is no way to demonstrate it does. I’d test your position by asking you what your position is on the existence of any of the following: Unicorns, Leprechauns, Odin, Thor, the Flying Spaghetti Monster, Vishnu, Allah, the Easter Bunny, and Santa Clause. Tell me honestly, if your ego will allow, on a scale from 0 to 100, which of these do,you give a higher than zero likelihood of existing? For,which of these would you make the same argument?

I've seen/heard a Christian defend child SA as being allowed by their god. An atheist told them the difference between them and their alleged god is they would intervene, while their god watches it to happen with a "oh you'll pay for it later" mindset. Their defense was literally the path, "my god must've wanted allowed the SA to happen as means of punishing the child. Maybe this event triggered something important to happen 500 years in the future? Maybe this was an acceptable result of something important that happened 500 years ago? As an ex-missionary (and ex-Christian), I'm fully aware of how easy it is to find whatever symbolism you desire in the Bible and treat it as a personal message from God. As proof, here are a few other "6:11" verses Trump supporters might benefit from reading into this situation (instead of the one they chose): Genesis: "Now the earth was corrupt in God's sight and was full of violence." Ecclesiastes: "The more the words, the less the meaning, and how does that profit anyone?" Amos: "For the Lord has given the command, and he will smash the great house into pieces and the small house into bits." Micah: "Shall I acquit someone with dishonest scales, with a bag of false weights?" 1 Thessalonians: "So then, let us not be like others, who are asleep, but let us be awake and sober." (a call to be "woke?" lol) There are others which could easily be twisted to apply, especially taken out of context, but these were the most obviously applicable. Also, if you're going to pretend to know/love the Bible, at *least* learn how to pronounce the names of its books... you'd think they'd have learned that lesson after Trump's whole "Two Corinthians" fiasco. 😂

When we let go of god and religion in any form, we're FREE to form our own understanding of what it means to live on this earth. It's an unlearning process from what w'ere taught at birth... regardless of where we're born. WE are all the same. It takes courage to look inward and reflect about who we are individually and as a human collective.

@@ncwordman I actually have an entire book about Ephesus. Lol I have watched numerous programs over the years about the Epistles of Paul. Point is that most Christians would know how to pronounce it, because they've either been to church when the Epistles were being preached, they're not a fan of Paul or they are, so they look into it via videos online, or they just know that "ph" is often a "f" sound. You're right though, but please take her mistake and all other evidence as a sign she doesn't know much about the subject.

So it's impossible to prove God doesn't exist. The only logical conclusion is that we can't answer this, or solve it. It's undefined, like 1 divided by 0.
