Dangerous only on the jungle sides of Southern Thailand because of some rebel activities. Safe on the Malaysian side, as no issues there.

Indeed, I had a good time with helpful people but some news show that there were attacks on some routes near the border.

Bruh ,this is my playground. Dangerous only on Thai side. No worries once you step in to Malaysia.

Thanks. The fees depend on your bank. I typically noticed between $3-6usd for Americans and more for Europeans.

This west border or Th-My is safe. Only east border of Th-My isn’t safe. But all areas in My side are safe because no rebel issues.

Thailand border to Malaysia border.. the one that you crossed from Dannok to Padang Besar is not dangerous. The dangerous one is Sungai Golok in Narathiwat to Rantau Panjang in Kelantan or from Tak Bai to Pengkalan Kubor !

It’s legal to carry guns in the US. And sporadic shootings are a daily event in public spaces with even schools having necessary safety procedures in case of shootings over there. Data suggest death by shooting is the highest in the US as compared to anywhere else globally. It’s safer in Asia. What are you on about?
