Sure. I tend to check out people's channels if they're active on the channel, or seem like they may be interesting. However, I'm very picky on what I subscribe to, and I just don't watch every kind of video just because someone asked me to. Same goes for shout-outs, I cannot fairly shout-out somebody for no reason other than they asked, it would be unfair to anyone else who were to ask and I would be unable to do so. A shoutout from me will not gain you much viewership or subscribers.

It's actually Disney that is greedy. They take 20% royalties on these toys, which is twice the usual on that type of deal and that's on top o the massive licence fees paid since 1997. Disney is sending Hasbro to the wall

Kids toys are fine, but what absolutely BOGGLES me is how Hasbro keeps throwing money at these random toy lines. The Retro Collection, the re-releases, the "Hologram" collection, the RANDOM "Deluxe" figures. Hasbro, you KNOW what people want, why do you keep wasting money on these lines that go NOWHERE? I understand that it's not the same teams, but it makes you wonder what the Hell is wrong with Hasbro as a company with disturbing their funds. I'm just sick or it, dude. Their laziness as of late has been cranked up, and then we have these. These I don't mind so much because they're intended for kids, and this allows parents to buy their kids figures that don't cost AS much. (Which is hilarious, because when we were kids, figures were cheaper than these and had better articulation) It is genuinely hard being a collector of Hasbro Star Wars these days, imo. I am tired of the lazy reptaints, inaccurate figures, prices, and lack of quality or variety of figures.

I don't even think kids like these. Kids want to be able to pose their figures to look like they are shooting, or kneeling, or running, etc. Maybe for kids under 3yo, 5poa is acceptable, but beyond that, I don't believe that kids are really into these.

I know man, that’s the worst thing hasbro has done, they gave the marvel figures a bit more articulation, even if it’s not G.I. Joe style articulation, but better than what hasbro have to Star Wars and they should’ve at least implemented the articulations we got from the Marvel figures like the X-Men 97 figures and implement it to the Star Wars figures so they could at least have some more possibilities around the shoulders, elbows, hips, and knees.

I know man, back in the late 2000's, G.I. Joe figures had more articulation and more accessories and they only costed $8 and example is the G.I. Joe Pit Commando from the G.I. Joe Rise of Cobra toyline as the Pit Commando had a ton of guns and gear and more articulation and he was only $8 when he came out, plus, he has more paint apps.

They gave them limited articulation and limited paint apps because they don't want the figures to be a cheaper alternative to TVC. They priced me out of TVC. I was actually looking forward to the Star Wars Epic Hero Series but after seeing them in person, no thanks. So I'm no longer collecting Star Wars figures.

I'm very pleased that these are back. I'm so, so sick of TVC and especially retro honestly. I love stylized toys. things that feel chunky and toyetic. TVC feels brittle and kinda gooey, and they're too realistic for my taste. TVC is the kind of line I just want a couple choice pieces from. I do agree that they're overpriced though, but it's much better than paying $20 for TVC imo.

big yikes on that price tag. There's no way that figure is even in the realm of being worth 10 bucks. It's insane to think that you can get a core class transformer for the same amount of money with a ton more articulation and paint plus, it's from the same company. Hasbro needs to step back from disney. someone there keeps wanting a bigger cut despite the toys looking like... that.

Honestly I think it’s Disney. The original Saga Legends 5POA line started the year after Disney bought Lucasfilm, so it’s very likely that it is Disney making these decisions. But at the same time, Disney also owns Marvel, so idk why Marvel toys are allowed to be good (and readily available, since a lot of TVC and black series figures are great but impossible to find) but not Star Wars Toys. If it is Disney, then I don’t understand why they would be treating their brands so differently. If it’s hasbro, I chalk it up to laziness and incompetence. But on top of that, Lego, despite their problems, still make really good Star Wars toys. So if it is Disney why aren’t they putting these restrictions on Lego?

The only reason I can think of for these being so expensive is that it's funding TVC. Even with the slew of repacks, deluxes, and price hikes, single carded TVC is VERY affordable for its quality. It could also be tapping into the kid market, maybe? Mandoverse is hot right now and maybe kids like it, I don't know any, but I have a feeling a lot of those kids are playing Galaxy of Heroes on the iPad.

It's a shame, cause the Marvel line you brought up is pretty banger. I got the Miles Spider-Man and the X-Men 97 Rogue and Cyclops since their actual MU versions are more expensive these days, and despite being a TAD short compared to my MUs, they blend in just fine. Heck, save for her neck, Rogue can do a decent flying pose. I'm also looking at that Thanos they recently put out in that line, cause I missed out on the MU version of THAT, too. I'll always miss MU, but the Marvel Epic Heroes figures are a nice consolation in the current figure market. And if they'd given the Star Wars figures the same treatment, they could've been great for getting kids into toy collecting. But instead, they're putting stuff out that would've been considered sub-par for their kids lines over 10 years ago.

And they went cheap with The Avengers line. One of the most successful hits of the 2010’s and they cheated out for it. Then they wonder why the line didn’t do so hot. This is the same Hasbro who keeps putting out gimmicky TF figures no one wants to where retailers are only stocking those figures as the only TF products you could find and can’t even distribute their stuff properly with RoTB’s mainline being a quagmire of a line in terms of actually finding the figures. A line that could have showed Hasbro we don’t need the One-Step Changers or other stuff they keep insisting on since Age of Extinction with actual transformers for children to mess with but failed because they’re handling distribution worse than the time scalpers ran wild with Prime RID Vehicons or the Star Wars Phantom Menace TVC fiasco.

A little too tall for a Stormtrooper… For those saying that TVC is “Happy Meal”, Epic Heroes is the literally the definition. 15 years ago, the Phantom Menace figures looked better and had more articulations than this “Epic Heroes” line. Watto and JarJar looked phenomenal by comparison. Heck, I think Power of the Force II Flashback Photo Vader was better than the one done for “Epic Heroes”. If this is supposed to be for “kids” but POTFII did it better, then Hasbro or specifically someone at the Star Wars team came up with that line simply doesn’t get it. I would prefer spending 8 dollars more and get the TVC Stormtrooper and that’s what I’m doing since they’re refreshing it for their ANH wave, no longer Walmart exclusive. At least the Retro Collection is trying to look like the old Kenner toys without being the true things from the past but 5POA isn’t it.

These are made to be more for kids then adult collectors. It’s to get kids into Star Wars figures, that their parents would get them these over the 17$ ish vintage collection figures. You can get the potf/j for about $5 each in or out of box nowadays. I still get some of those for the few I don’t have.

@@wordlesslfiddling Only McFarlane figures come with bases, as the standard, from what I’ve seen. They are only about $20 each and 7 inches. It’s a private company not publically traded corporation, so that’s what makes the difference.

I'm fine with these being available for kids. If I had kids, or if my nieces were interested in Star Wars, this is what I would get for them. $10 seems very pricey for this style. $7-$8 might be more fare, but there's no way I'd be paying for Vintage or especially Black Series for kids. Kids need some kind of line to collect and something the parents can more easily buy for them. EDIT: Damn, that Spider-Man is awesome. I am curious why Star Wars is being held back

Scrap 5POA, scrap carbonised repaints, scrap hologram collections and credit collections and just give that money to the TVC and black series budgets and just have 2 incredibly strong lines instead of wasting money on the rubbish they have been doing

I think that us "older" star wars fans are starting to behave like 40 year old star wars fans back when the prequels came out, negative, hypocritical and gatekeepers. These figures are clearly marketed for children, honestly if these get kids into star wars (A primarily kid friendly saga) it's not that big of a deal, the black series is entering a silver age and TVC is still worth every dollar. At the end of the day, It's a toy; action figures are toys, they are meant to be played with and these get the job done.

Being marketed to kids doesn’t mean it has to be this lacking in value, especially in comparison to those other lines mentioned in the video. Which are also for kids. If you want to get more kids into Star Wars using these toys, at least price them accordingly so more kids have the ability to get them.

I mean, I think as a TOY for kids it's okay, as in, if I had a son and he wanted to play with my TVC figures or whatever, this would be okay for him to play with till he's a little older to play with the others, but as a collector piece? $10 bucks for this hot garbage. Disney galaxy of heroes was 10x better than this crap. Wished that line stayed alive great articulation and looked great. Too bad it came out mainly during the sequel era.

What do you mean decline in design and sculpt? The Vintage Collection has been getting some truly amazing figures recently. I mean, have you seen the new TVC Count Dooku? The face print and head sculpt on that figure is truly perfect.

@@demonicaxeman7264Wouldn’t say he’s a sellout, but who can blame him for selling the franchise after the original reception to the prequels being released? He knew if he even tried to create a sequel trilogy it would also be ridiculed upon release.

@@ConvorOne Be as it may, Lucas would still be in a better positions if he created his own Sequel trilogy than the abomination Disney created, instead. It's not easy to predict the future, but I think Luacs is more concerned about the money being a Disney shareholder than Disney fixing Star Wars. "I got my 6 movies made, there's no point in fighting that. At least I still make money being a shareholder."
