PARTY PEOPLE was a music/talk show hosted by the guy that they cut to wearing the vest. He is JYP, a rapper/producer and the CEO of JYP Entertainment, one of the "BIG 3" K-Pop companies that dominate the industry. The show was filmed in his nightclub, and alcohol was served during taping! The group chose that song to cover because during their trainee years they had to perform a cover for the CEO and their managers every month. Their CEO had praised them on the SURE THING cover, so they decided to do it on the show. They also performed a medley of their own songs and a great, short dance cover to Beyoncé's PARTITION.

It’s so interesting to see how y’all think Lisa is the leader. She’s super fierce on camera and when it’s crunch time she has this executioner killer instinct but she is so shy in person. It’s cute lol it’s not what you would expect from her. Blackpink has no official leader but if i had to pick one I think it would be Jisoo. She’s the oldest (she’s the unnie) and she’s the only member to do the countdown when they introduce themselves which is notably a privilege only given to kpop leaders and she always gives the speeches at award shows and press events. Having lyrics on the screen when there's someone singing on the a tv show is present on every Korean program and here the girls were performing some of their songs and the host asked them to sing a song live that's not their's and since they hadn't prepared anything before they sang this song which they made the cover in their trainee days and matter of fact they didn't even practice this before the show so they were just having fun like singing in a karaoke

I don't know if you meant leader as in an actual leader who leads the group, or if you meant the most eye catching one because that to me are too different things. Blackpink doesn't have an official leader like other K-Pop groups but it's pretty clear from all the behind the scenes stuff and from what the members say themselves that Jisoo and Jennie usually take on the leader role (Jisoo is usually the one making the tough decisions, Jennie is usually the one talking to the company about their demands, and the two of them are usually the ones taking care of the wellness of the group in general). If you meant most eye catching, that's a different story. I went through different stages with Blackpink. In the very beginning, when I didn't even have a bias yet, I did think that Lisa was the most eye catching one, at least at first glance - Jennie as well. In part, I think it's because as the rappers they have the parts with more aggressiveness and more attitude. They stand out. It's very easy to see why they are usually the first ones to catch the audiences attention - obviously, the talent is the reason the rap lands the way it does tho. After I got more into Blackpink tho it actually switched quite a bit. I love ALL of the girls equally, but I find myself more drawn to Rosé and Jisoo. There's a quiet fierceness to them that just has me wrapped around their little finger lol, it's so captivating and I love the duality of their voices together - how Jisoo has a soothing lower ranger and Rosé has a piercing high range. Plus, Rosé's dancing is something else and doesn't get nearly enough credit. Point being, the only reason Blackpink works so well the way it does is because all the members are incredibly talented but also incredibly different and in the most surprising way, those differences compliment each other perfectly.

if you really looked into the performance....you'll see that lisa really vibing with the song right from the start until the finished. the other members looked kind of on and off. jennie looked down on most of the performance, jisoo seem preoccupied (its seem like she focus more on lyrics pronunciations, maybe because english was not her forte), and rosé looked a little shy. But lisa.....u can see that she's in tune with the beat....enjoying herself and vibing with the song...connecting with the audience and also with her fellow group members..she looked natural and relax. even when she rapped, her attitude and swag were so in sync with the beat of the song, it looked like she's having the best of time when performing on the stage. this is called stage presence...and she nailed it. keep in mind that they performed this song at the early years of BP debut, so its normal if they looked a bit shy....but lisa doesn't looked like rookie during this. All of them did great....but lisa really stands out.
