This is how you know Peter Obi did not win the election 2 Look at it from Nigeria's old regions Assume Peter Obi won East.(including Rivers state) Tinubu won West. Out of the 19 states in the north, Peter Obi won only 2 - Nasarawa and Plateau. In those 2 states, Tinubu got the required 25%, so the two states count for Tinubu as well.

His mandate is intact with his folks in south east. He is an ethnic leader, and has no support beyond his region. Even in Edo state, 99.99 of his support comes from his ethinc Igbo traders, just like Lagos.

If Peter Obi cannot find his mandate, let him ask his folks from the South East. He had ZERO mandate from South West and 19 states of the north, except for two (Nasarawa and Benue) and in those two states, Tinubu also got 25% which basically canceled out his 2 states in the north
