If you do something and a bunch of other people start doing something similar, take it as a compliment (you've started a movement and helped other people). Don't get hot under the collar. Remember, you're always encouraging people to reach for their dreams. If you've inadvertently showed them how to do that, be proud of it, not resentful. :)

I find this ridiculous… there are literally a ton of channels that have more than one channel. The fact that you choose to try and make fun of another channel shows your character. i watched a few channels post today saying they supposedly stole someone else's identity. Even though none of them said your name my first thought was that is sounded like something Jason would do. Normally I don't watch this channel any more but curiosity won and I had to search for it to watch. You preach how you support your friends and want the community to grow but then you don't like what they are doing. I'm seeing a pattern here you boast about friends then a meet up happens and months later suddenly some friends aren't as close or no longer people you want to be connected to anymore.

What's odd to me is that I've watched channels that were around before you even started that have multiple channels for multiple reasons. And trust me, I'm pretty sure these people have no idea who you are. 🤔 🤷🏾‍♀️🤦🏾‍♀️

I can say honestly the last few years of watching youtube a lot of the channels would be doing just about the same thing. I still watched them all. I have been watching Jason and now Jared for a while. It honestly does not matter if someone else is doing just about the same thing. Everyone still does things in their own unique way. The title of this kinda makes it sound like people are stealing from you. They cant. Their situation and way of doing things is different. Im kinda put off a bit by it. Not to be rude.

Did you know there are over 7.7 BILLION people on this planet? My point is there are going to be other people having the same ideas. Your creative sense and I guess overall business model with KZfaq is spot on! Not to mention the instant chemistry you and Danielle have and had from her first appearance, she’s really just been a natural on camera, same as you. But keep trying new things, try old things again, do whatever makes sense just make sure you guys don’t get burnt out. Take breaks from the typical content occasionally and do the little silly couple challenges to be able to still get a video up for the week for instance. Jason you’ve been a big inspiration to me though, mainly because we have a lot in common an you remind me of two of my oldest friends in one lol. Seeing that your sense of humor and goofiness works so well in this space, paired with all the building and more serious topics has really given me the little extra push that I needed to get out there and follow in your footsteps. Multiple channels have been around since Jenna Marbles and Bf v GF branched out. People going live has been around since GAMERS got on the platform, which was way before you. This whole video is so delusionally narcissistic, it's breathtaking. You get distracted, bored, and disorganized so you move on to something else. Don't blame other people following trends as stealing your ideas. Put your ego away and focus on your issues instead of blaming other people for your struggles. It's CLASSIC untreated ADHD to blame people who don't make your life easy for you.. and your girl, is the perfect enabler to keep telling you how unfair everything is for you. To be honest, I wasn't aware of the Crockers until your 2022 Shoot Dang event was mentioned in Simple Life Reclaimed. When I first started watching KZfaq Homestead channels a few months ago, Good Simple Living, Simple Life Reclaimed and Country Road Cure and C'mon Homestead were the main ones that appeared. Then after your Shoot Dang I added the Crockers Tiny Home. I recently added Jared. KZfaq platform has an established process for ALL creators to monetize their content. KZfaq wouldn't allow multiple channels if everyone wasn't entitled to create multiple channels or be restricted to one revenue stream because it looks like or is similar to other channels. Coke or Pepsi?

Jason you need to just do what you do. Don’t talk down about anyone. If someone does what you do, who cares. I love All the homestead shows. The people in AR. are amazing and great generous people. The couple and daughter that moved to Mississippi are great. Dutch, Kevin, Chad, Grandpa Adler, K&S, Trent&Allie, Cog Hill, The young couple in Texas that built container home, I could go on forever. Everyone brings there personalities and projects to the table and there are great people out there. Why would you even care what others do? We love each homestead for different reasons. You owe people an apology because these wonderful people all have great content and are watched an loved and will be watched and you are watched because you have interesting context at times. This is not about who did what first it’s about caring about ethics and concern for one another. Build people up and people will build you up. Nasty remarks, never work. They boomerang. The most successful on utube never got as far as they have by bashing anyone. And when something was said in an emotional state. They did a whole utube on apologizing. And it was a true, real apology. And it was accepted. Show love and be kind to Danielle because she is a real gem.

Being 64 years old, I believe Utube is going to eventually run its time and all y’all making a living at it are going to get a reality check on where the income will come from. Just like the rv industry, it’s already losing its lust about 16% less from last year. The interest just won’t be there for story telling and homestead lifestyle. Especially so as y’all pick at each other…..

Good morning, Danielle, and Jason. I do get what you're saying, and I agree with most of it. I think you have a mind for business, and it shows. I don't know how to say what I want to say...I enjoy you two so no matter who else comes up with the same things I'm going to watch you. I enjoy your vulnerability and openness, like when you spoke of watching the first lives and how pumped you got when you heard them saying your name out loud! I know that feeling and felt the same. There are people I watch that kind of do your format and for me it doesn't work as well because they are acting how you act but it's not natural to them, so it looks forced. I think it's the way of KZfaq that people like new things and I think your mind works that way, you're always thinking of what's next which works in your favor. I think you just have to continue to be "you" and not worry about the rest. I get that some of the ideas are you brain children and you've worked to get it down right and others swoop in and take advantage of that but again you would more than likely come up with something new anyway because that's you. I enjoy the lives but they are definitely not my favorite because there is too much going on for me. I like the work videos but not just strictly work because mostly I listen while I work on something else so I pick videos that have conversation and not just visuals. I would like to see more of your photography and videography, the animal and nature shots are beautiful. Maybe you could do a few Q and A videos because we or I like the connection and like getting to know you so maybe once a month take questions about your current projects. Guess I stumbled upon your channel in 2019. You & Jared where building his shed to house in Texas. I’m from Texas & you guys building skills interested me. Then I saw your mom & dad’s & Matt’s channel & well. now we’re here. I think Danielle compliments you very well. Y’all are the cutest couple & I’m proud of y’all’s accomplishments! I have to admit I have used you all to motivate my family into DIY around our house. I say well If those Crocker boys can do it - so can we. ( my hubby is a plumber & used to shy away from construction stuff….but now we have replaced our roof ourselves & replaced half the house siding. When weather cools off we will finish the other half & are hoping to get a loan to remodel inside . You each are an inspiration THANK YOU 😊

Everyone on KZfaq are doing multiple lives and have been for a long time. You all should be supportive of each other. All the pages are awesome. I will not think any are better then the other. I enjoy watching all of you. But no one is better then the other.

As I watch numerous channels both in the Homesteading an Gatdens sector. I have found diversity. Ir was the re-dos of older l cabins an the shed conversions that caught my interest oddly enough. Yet, there are several channels doing this ALL HAVE A DIFFERENT TAKE ON THE HOW TOOS! I truly believe there is enough UNIQUENESS to go around Jason your creativity is also uniquely yours.. Stay true to you! Honestly, I can see how other community members feel the non support... note: I am not a creator, do not have any channels, nor own a camera! But, i am a 🚛 truck driver .an spend 6 days a week in it. I listen an on down times watch about 35 hrs. A week to MANY MANY CHANNELS! Jason.. when we make it to the top .. we are supposed to turn around an lend out a hand to the ones still tracking on the path! Ment in good vibes and without malice.. People are upset, make this right! Community is key!

It's understood that you think along the lines of continuous improvement and I respect that. However, just you and Danielle being yourselves, without compromise, is what makes all the channels addictive. Personally, I miss seeing your amazing videography skills where you combine amazing still shots with music in the introductions and transitions. You do it only occasionally and I really notice and appreciate it when you do. Lastly, though I do watch the lives, it is my least favorite. Long and repetitive when people ask questions that have been answered a hundred times already. Most of the questions come from people who either aren't watching every video or they are simply hearing but not LISTENING. Thanks!

When people copy others it's generally because they admire you or maybe jealous. Because I'm older than dirt, my advice is (take it or leave it) Just be yourself and keep it simple. If there is some new thing that you can do, I'm sure you will discover it because you are an original Masterpiece made by God not a copy, so therefore you come up with unique things. You seem to think your role as a KZfaqr and influencer is much bigger than it is. It's great that you found a career path that works for you/your personality/your life goals. Everyone has a right to the same opportunity - and frankly, I can name several channels that are significantly larger than your main channel - and started more recently - without all the extra channels - but on multiple social media platforms/formats - and NONE of them belittle other channels for any reason. Everyone has to start somewhere and they develop their filming, editing and format/set-ups differently as they become more experienced at their craft, and if you aren't filming an "action" sequence, then most likely, you have to sit down somewhere. Considering alot of these start of homesteaders sold most of what they have to start over on raw land, that usually means sitting in a camp chair or something similar OUT OF NECESSITY. Either way, protecting the content/momentum that they build on their main channel and opening up other channels is encouraged by YT, so it's not a copycat of you unless you are acknowledging that you are copying other channels that may be outside of the homesteading niche - like Demolition Ranch, for example, which is another significantly larger channel than yours. Your behavior of building people up and them trying to tear them down comes across as very narcissistic and is likely contributing to why your main channel hasn't grown faster.

If it makes you feel better, when I get notification of a new video from you, I go to see what you have posted immediately…. Live chats are sometimes boring to me. I think you do “stand out” just by your personality. All the “Crocker” channels are entertaining and you have created a loyal fan base. My day is brighter when I get to see all the progress you are making! The homesteading community that has formed from the “Shoot Dang Ranch” brand is a great group of people. It gives us old people out here hope for the future of our nation. And there is not a lot in the goings on in this world that is hopeful! You are a blessing to me.

I just sitting here shaking my head! I'm truly amazed that you think you started these things in the homestead community! However there are many different homestead communities from multiple nations that you are completely probably unaware of so you truly might not know. Yeah.... there is no CUTEST couple. I have to admit that I wish you hadn't called out other channels that are trying to make a living doing what you are doing . I just want to be honest….You two inspired my wife and I to start a channel. We are both managers at large home improvement companies and we work a lot of hours while trying to raise our daughter. I have a carpentry background and my wife is artistic. We want our channel to be a release from the every day life. I have mad respect for you and your talents! I watch all of your videos and believe you two are unique in your own way! We make good money at our jobs so this isn’t for the money but more to share our life with others. Thanks for all you do!
