The Moira on my team said I was throwing and said gg when I traded as sombra with the enemy kiriko in the first 10 seconds. We steam rolled both rounds and won, but seriously, it's annoying as hell

I always see the worst player on my team say gg because they think we aren't playing well because we aren't playing the way they want to. Alot of tanks do it to the supports when they eat a shit ton of damage

Oddly I figured him out during the Mirrorwatch event. I play alot of mystery heroes but couldn't figure out Doom but mostly just because of the weird teams that mystery heroes can form

LOL, i think this goes back to hero swap. Some tanks are made for diving, especially if ur comp is super divable. If the enemies are NOT divable (cc galore) I would just say... go Zarya my friend 👍 zarya i think is one of the best at punishing. But also DVA, because you can stop the tank from getting healed, or Wonton for his bubble which stops heals. Hero picks matter 💜

@@cleolaa Definitely true. The main instance that sticks in my mind though, was the time we BOTH had Ramatra. Neither of us ulted. I shielded him off and used nemesis for sustain, but same thing! I forget the team comps now though. Probably the case, my back line just didn't have punish capacity, may have already used their cooldowns too. I do know the enemy had an ana who just sat in the back unpressured, making my life miserable the whole game.

@@DarthSpock1 as a support main currently, i can tell you nothing makes me happier than being uncontested and nading tank from 50 meters away LOL. i think too many people rely on tank to peel, punish and push. the three p's. u can only do so much.

Yeah in low ranks u can get away with one trick but in higher ranks, swapping is OP asf

Tell that to the DPS and Supports who won't swap to do this and then flame me on tank when I won't swap to the tank they want.

@@thomaswestendorf9213 both you and them are the problem, you are the biggest impact in the match, so if you are hard countered three times over and refuse to swap you are throwing that's not a debate, that is a fact, if you play tank and refuse to swap regardless of reason, go play one of the other two roles because with the current state of the game you are the one swapping is going to make the biggest impact of all of them, if you have a zen Lucio as your support well gg go next lol

@@ralphforbes5807 unfortunately it is a debate. The only thing thats throwing is hurling yourself off the map or not using all your abilities properly or not contributing to the match. Choosing to stay on a character youre more comfortable with or that youre better on or not making a swap who you personally think wouldnt work isnt throwing.

@@xaviergoodwin4806 if you are getting hard countered and feeding your brains out in a comp match as the tank, that is indeed throwing, if you're being hard countered but it is doing nothing to you and you are doing your roll then no it's not, if you are able to out play the counters I'd accept it, but if you intend to actually improve your rank (especially on tank) being versatile is a huge step in doing so especially now, I don't like it cause I feel like tanks have enough shit they gotta deal with but at current its the one roll that gets shafted the most when dealing in counters, knowing the difference between managing to out play them countering and when you need to swap is a big step in improving your gameplay, absolutely refusing to swap because "My tEaMmAtEs WoNt" is the biggest action of someone who should not be in comp, you have zero impact on others, you do have impact on your own actions and refusing simply on that while getting shit on cause they hard countered you and are keeping you from doing your job is in fact throwing its not as blatant, now if you swap and they continue to shit on you then it's skill issue which is fine but at least you tried, the difference between a good tank and a bad one at current is their ability to accept that 1 trick isn't an option for you right now BTW feeding because they are shitting on your with counters and refusing to swap is exactly what not contributing to a match is...so no it's not a debate

@@HopeIsADrug11037 The single funniest thing that ever happens to me on widow is killing one enemy, and then watching the rest of their team stroll up. Then they respawn and are the ONLY one looking for me while their whole team waddles around and gets picked off 😭

Her strongest ability is just pissing people off so they get distracted and lose momentum, I literally play her to be irritating sometimes exclusively bc the team is too focused. I feel the same about sombra

While you're learning the new role, turn off chat. That way you can really focus on learning the new role rather than seeing nasty, toxic comments thrown at you. Hardly any beneficial communication comes thru the chat, anyway, and if you really wanted to communicate, you could try voice. Same thing, though. If people start being toxic, just leave the voice chat. Don't let them ruin your experience because when it comes down to it them flaming you is just helping the enemy team.

First rule of online multiplayer is never take advice from people who are clearly toxic. Listen to Emongg and other tank CCs but never listen to toxic people. I got flamed for being a terrible tank by the other tank when I clearly diffed them on 2 tanks (One of which was a mirror) and when they won they had the nerve to say I was a terrible tank. Listening to toxic people is NEVER a good idea in any instance. If you're self conscious about playing tank then turn off text for a time (or forever) and learn it and then if you want to turn it back on when you're comfortable.

If you struggle with confidence in your heroes playing arcade like CTF and mystery heros helped me so much. I’ve only been playing a couple months but those gamemodes sometimes absolutely nobody knows what’s going on, and sometimes in CTF it’s one of those games you’ll lose no matter what so your team doesn’t care at all what you do. Keep going!! I refused to play tank until like month 2, and then I grinded DVA for ages and now she’s a solid fill pick for me. It takes time, OW can be really hard. Also just being mindful of your teamcomp with what tank you pick, you should be able to play one dive and one brawl if you’re role queueing tank, so like Rein and DVA is good enough if you can play them well

No, Phara is fine, game has tones of hit scans and some pretty harsh counters now days. Not my problem if you can't aim.
