Disclaimer: no one told me I couldn't build the perfect Metroid kitbash. But I hope it made you curious!

It's definitely helpful the a lot of the Iron Blooded Orphan kits share the same basic frames and parts, with the only differences usually being head pieces and armors

Fun fact the two kits used are actually the same mech but with an armor swap

Made this build MUCH easier considering 75% of the parts are interchangeable

All hg iron blooded orphans kits are pretty much interchangeable since they have their inner frames to work with.

How much are u thinning the paints

Basically to the consistency of skim milk or thick water. It's kind of hard to explain but it's very simple.

@@wavetovids If you haven't yet, try thinning with off the shelf lacquer thinner. Works great on tamiya acrylics.

@@wavetovids On tamiya acrylics, yes. They are not true acrylics, but instead are alcohol based. Lacquer thinner or rubbing alcohol work GREAT on thinning them
