Just imagine yourself as a 16 year old boy, among some strangers whom you didn't know before some months, not knowing anyone deeply, away from home and your family in a completely different city with such hectic life, working day and night as a trainee, practicing everytime, perfecting your singing and dancing, unsure of your future if you ever will be successful, getting scolded for mistakes even on your own birthday after doing such hardwork (though that was a prank, but still). You should know that one of the members Seungri was in an extremely huge scandal about some illegal things happening to unconscious girls in his nightclub. So he’s very disliked for obvious reasons. Usually they are working on their birthdays, specially during tae and jin’s since is the season for end of the year award shows They don’t usually give each other presents anymore but sometimes they do, hobi said it’s been so long that now even a message seems meaningful If they mess up the director is supposed to direct them and give instructions but I don’t think is common for the boys and manager to be that harsh on someone, they probably know if they messed up and want to correct it by themselves since they are perfectionists

I think the scolding/ constructive criticism happens until now, there's one time in their movie bring the soul (not sure) a staff told them they're slacking off a bit and that even tho the concert is still fun, they still need to be precised on movements. and just my opinion, I think that's one of the reason our boys are unbelievingly too humble for someone on their level of success and fame, they rarely get mixed with other people so they don't see their gap between others, like how special they are and the team of staff who's always with them, don't really glorified them so much and just treat them like a normal human being. That's good tho!☺
