Love is not always about being nice. If you Love your family you will not be nice to someone trying to harm them. You will not reward your children for behaving in harmful ways. This false kindness we see is a perversion of love. Seeing perpetrators as victims, descending into a tribalistic blame game. So many people have their souls drained by their misguided passions, and everyone is just trying to be nice as we all decay from the inside. Like it’s invisible to so many. So many people at odds, so many children growing up with no father, and no one to lead them to HaShem. I pray G-d will bring understanding to the masses and lead us all to play our role in a harmonious world to come. Amen. Shalom Rabbi, thanks for your teachings and inspiration. 🙏
