This guy has paid more than 90% of his taxes over 20 years, together with other law abiding citizens. Nothing tangible or profitable is done with these taxes for maaaaannyy years. GRA wasn't even able to retrieve these taxes until he aspired to be a president? So what if Cheddar did not aspire? State money will be lost? So what about the irresponsibility or incompetence of that GRA? That doesn't ring a bell? This is exactly what this gentleman is saying. Too much rot in the system. A lot of people are chopping and keeping state money. Retrieve all with a common interest of nation building. Hypocrite leaders and hypocrite citizens. His willingness to even pay the little balance left out of the many many years of consistently paying his taxes is even better and more welcoming than those who chop our monies with guts and insult us on top when we speak. Perhaps he also did this on purpose, trying to ask, ''what at all do we also gain after all these years of consistently paying these huge taxes?'' Look, because of this mentality, these politicians know that this is an unserious nation, especially the citizens who comment on anything without even thinking and remembering their conditions first. Consequently, the politician cares less about misusing our resources. Be wise!!!! Let there be a cleanup exercise and you will see how many politicians are owing billions of Ghana cedis out of tax evasion, including your favourites. Judgemental people with low IQ. Cry for yourselves...

Its sad just for me that I don't have money.. By now I got take my own money mount bill boards around my community... This is the change we are looking for.. Ghana is not for a group of people and their families.. It's for all of us.

⁠The same way the got some of their opponents out so they can continue with their kokofu ball game (NDC and NPP), the same way they want to get him out. If it is true that he owes such an amount, why were the authorities who were hired to ensure he pays his taxes allowed him to not do that? Any serious country would have fired such authorities. But in Ghana, the current administration will even praise them for a good job done. The same way the auditor general was removed from office for age cheating, it would have been appropriate if the government had come out to tell Ghanaians that after a thorough investigation, some Ghanaian officials were found to have lied about their age and the auditor general was one of them. But this, it was only the auditor general who was found to have lied about his age.

Everyone should relax, he paid the EC in 2023 to be approved to be on ballot sheet and to start a party and it takes 2 weeks for approval but it's been 3 to 5 months now and no approval .... Adding tax invasion and not tax avoidance makes everything an illegal offense. Once you declare you want a position, everyone will dig into your life. He needs to stop the interviews and focus on making things work on the ground... without approval for a party, interviews are useless. The main work is to be approved then he can talk.... Popularity doesn't make him president, the work on the ground does. Starting with approval from EC , if not presidency will be a dream

I am not sure where Nana Addo's government or any other government say if it were any other would have faulted because leaders must set good examples. If you want to lead, meaning you are ready to wash your hands with the big boys, then just wash your hands well. If Freedom seriously means business, then the onus is on him to clean his house well before he invites people. Remember what was said about Nana Addo before he became president, Remember what was said to Ex president John Mahama.
