In this episode we are exploring an abandoned neighborhood where all the homes were bought out to become an industrial park. A major chip manufacturing company has been eyeing a specific piece of land in Clay to build on and is promising thousands of jobs. Although some homeowners that have lived on the land for decades are paying the price as they feel they were forced to move to make it all happen.

@@urbaxvibesI went down that road over the weekend and all but 2 houses and 1 barn are all gone. The great northern mall just down the road from there is also mostly abandoned you guys should check into that sometime, not sure how much security there is for the place. I drove around there and got some really cool pics of the outside all overgrown, windows and doors boarded up, seemed weird seeing it like that and remembering all the times as a kid and when I first got my license that I would go there and hang out with friends.

What a shame! Looked a lovely place to live. Loved all the greenery around the houses. The heart shape tub was rather interesting! 🤔. Sorry that “Karen” spoilt it for you. People just think it’s acceptable to be rude to others unnecessarily. Be interesting to see what happens to those houses/residents remaining there! Please update us at a later date! Thank you. Our backpacks are standard camera backpacks full of equipment, we carry a drone, multiple accessories such as batteries, lights, tripods and our cameras.

I mean all their neighbors and all the houses that are being broken into which is really close to her houseand the county and city or whatever not taking care of the houses that they want to take over in the first place you know so I totally understand where she’s coming from, but I understand where you’re coming from in the same fact

this was so wrong on so many levels i was so angry when i lost my house to bankruptsy my parents bought a buisness and i was super happy and we tried to thrive but i was heartbroken and depressed for along time when i lost my childhood home were i grew up ive things were changed back then we would of saved it but nope we didnt none should be ripped from there home period but great video guys it shows how evil our goverment is and these developers are i would of said go find a pond of sand to build on

It seems to me, that the residents were forced to move out. I wonder if the residents were harassed? If they were number 1, you're not going to hear about that on the any news tv network and number 2 forcing residents to move out and threatening them and harassing them is known block busting and that's highly illegal, plus the abandoned property are not being taken care of I e mowing the lawns at the abandoned properties.

That used too be farm land, swamps or full of mosquitoes especially near Clay barns aren't built of bricks or concrete because they both hold moisture.Also there's a lot of arrogant people in Clay & surrounding areas

If you wanted to know why barns aren't made of bricks, check out a "barn raising" sometime. Wood barns are easier to get up and going, and cost efficient. However, there are now metal ones that are more modern. If you need a wood barn raised in a day, look no further than the Amish. They are FAST!

The reason they bought all of houses they did is due too the fact there's going too be an industrial park so Micron isn't the only business that will be there eventually however I don't understand why they needed 1400 acres of land
