Glad I'm not in the firing line for once haha! Would just like to clear up that I know I seem like a toxic pos in previous vids but a lot of the time I'll all chat when they're being abusive in team chat (which you don't see) not just playing badly. Have learnt that the mute button is the most powerful spell in the game and has helped me from tilting since doing so! Still a long time sufferer of Gibbonititus though! Peace xx

@DafNotDaff next time suggest rewinding more to walk through what you are seeing (unless Joe cut it for time)! Also when rewinding make sure to check what each team saw before a fight kicked off because that is very hard to build an intuition on what information you are giving the enemy team. I would also spend some time thinking of how you rank information in a given situation/game state, because it can help you explain to others why you thought something was a good idea or not and can help you understand also why someone else disagrees and thinks another course of action is better and usually your self-explanations make sense but just for the wrong prioritization of facts.

Glad you're finding ways to be less toxic, mate. It's a lot of work changing habits and reflex, but if you keep on it and do what you can to squash those behaviors, you'll get it eventually. Iterative process, and all. If it helps, just imagine everyone in the game as a gaggle of muppets. Found it real hard to stay mad when I'm imagining that bad teammate as Fozzie Bear, Animal, or Grover.

Minimap on the right is better because the objectives and the paths between them run diagonally bottom left to top right, so if it's on the left you're more likely to click it accidentally when targeting or moving.

@@woytaz I mean he's not wrong you just have to learn not to click there. You don't just walk up and down the lanes anyways. I feel like i click in the bottom right about as often as bottom left, the difference is negligible. I'm guessing moving it just made you more conscious of the issue therefore less likely to click it. If I'm spam clicking to escape I'm usually going in and out of the treeline anyways not running down the middle of the lane.

Huskar cutting waves wasn't the worst thing ever, he was actually making space. Ideally he doesn't die, and just shows for a sec and TPS out, but, he was a goon

What a crazy game! This was fun to watch but it's also a masterclass in advice on late game. You don't always get to see games go this long, let along learn common mistakes. So thanks for this. Also Pangolier is literally a mash of Pangolin and Cavalier. Though he is more fox faced than real pangolins.

That alc walking back and forth and not hitting anything had me so tilted. Like just hit the building my guy. I see that so much in my games your heaviest hitter will either just allow himself to be kited by the enemy heroes or stand at the back waiting for an opportunity to blink in and fight when they should just be hitting the buildings. If you're the heaviest hitter you need to be hitting the buildings you can't expect to have your supports upfront doing that for you. The job of the supports is to save you if the enemy heroes try to fight while you're wailing on the buildings.

The talk about Torte's guides... I feel called out XD I'm a newbie who doesn't know what different items and heroes do yet, so have been following those guides due to their high ratings. Odds are, with memory issues, I'm never gonna learn all the items/heroes, but it is cool to hear there are better guides out there. I will check out Faith's guides right now.

I've played butler alch before, and gotta say, to get your team really powerful early is fun but very, very boring for your play since you might as well be a totally useless hero otherwise. If you don't have any items for yourself - Alch really is just an AOE stun on two legs. All said - this was a fun as hell game to watch and I think one of the first ones that's gone to 60 minutes on the channel! Love to hear Daf's energy and Pyrion's mixing together.

calling Pangolier a fox :( He's a Pangolin! They're a near extinct animal that's similar in some ways to an Armadillo but they're MUCH more thickly protected. A car kills an armadillo if it hits one, a Pangolin would likely kill a car that hit it, and maybe sometimes survive. I am literally wearing a Pangolin shirt right now lol. They're such amazing and interesting animals. Fuck China for what it does to them...

Actually, Pyrion, I play quite a bit of PL and you can definitely use Doppleganger to initiate on someone (considering it's quite a low cd spell). It's even better if you also have a manta. So you run up to them, Dopple, hit 'em with diffusal, then just group select all illusions and main hero and right click on them, because you can catch up with phantom rush. It's even better with manta because when your manta illusions almost expire, you use doppleganger, it will reset the cd of those illusions to those of the doppleganger illusions, giving you more illusions. Every one of PL's abilities just works so well with each other, maybe phantom lance being the exception except during laning phase for harrass. But I always max out doppleganger because it makes you more survivable for sure.

The point is saving doppelganger to initiate while ALSO dodging key stuns/nukes that will lock you down. Its all well and good teleporting on top of someone but if you come out of it to instantly get stunned or blown up then it would have been better saved as an escape.

I'm terrible at dotes, especially on mechanical level, and in moment-to-moment decision making. And I always wondered how I am even playing on 4k. 1:05:00 - I guess, that's why. Because, I'll never let a throw like this happen in my team. I'm constantly on the mic, organizing, encouraging, and generally communicating. I'll never have my team just wonder about in the jungle with an aegis. I do kill my team with a bad smoke gank or with a terribly timed team fight from time to time tho. But at least it feels better - to lose with some purpose and some plan in mind.

I was watching full screen, and few time I exit it expecting the game to be over, but it's only about half way... needless to say the amount of bad decision makings in this game was mindboggling. After the Alch got aegis, he just went right back to jungling EVERY time! The game is about getting objectives and getting ahead, and he simply isn't doing so. I hate it also when I go in fights, but my teammates are just like this Alchemist, either not with me or just jutting around in teamfights and not helping out accomplishing nothing. This game did NOT need to be this long, and it was radiant's game to lose tbh.

The side in which you place the minimap should be set based on which one of your eyes is your dominant eye. There are a few super easy tests to figure out which eye is your dominant eye. Putting the minimap on the side in which your dominant eye isn't, is likely to result in you accidentally clicking the minimap when you intended to move. This is actually a rare case where, League defaulting to the right side is actually the correct answer. Since right eye dominance is more common. The dota communities insistence that it should always be on the leftside is not only childish. It's just outright wrong for the majority of people.
