I'd say Jon Stewart. He doesn't want the position, but he'd be perfect for it. He's been fighting this fight in one way or another all his life, and he's smart enough and wise enough to succeed at it without becoming corrupted. That he has no interest in gaining a position of power makes him ideal to be someone who can be trusted to wield it responsibly, especially when you consider his knowledge and passion for justice and equality.

It’s just a feeling. It will pass. The best way to combat it is to get involved. Biden didn’t have a completely disastrous debate. You can characterize it that way, but that isn’t the whole truth. It’s not just Biden you’re voting for, it’s his whole rather amazing administration. You also are forgetting how many hideous lies Trump told. This is the first round. Forgive me for saying this, but stop being a baby and get out there and fight. Not just you, but everyone.

Please! Biden has decades of experience. We are so lucky to have him. Are we so easily put off? By one debate performance? Biden has done so many good things. We are literally stabilizing the world with our economy. You can nit pick over a policy here or a policy there, the bottom line is the USA currently has rockstar status, and we can thank the Biden administration for that. Our economic post pandemic recovery is legend. The next thing is how to legislate a heart and conscience into corporations. They have the advantage of many people rowing in the same direction and optimizing their profits. The corporate price gouging has to stop. That’s the thing that’s holding us back, and keeping the little guy from feeling the recovery.

Bernie is too old. I love Bernie, but you can't say that you have to replace Biden because he's too old, and then replace him with someone even older. You just can't sell that to people. And I get that Bernie is not suffering from the same mental decline, but it doesn't matter. The optics would be a disaster. Do AOC instead. She's well known and extremely popular. She'll be 35 before the election. I think after the last few years the American people would really love to have a president who was just barely old enough to qualify for the office.

My girlfriend barely pays attention to politics, but she always votes when I mark the dates on the calendar. I just asked her what she thought of Michelle Obama running for president if Joe Biden were to step down, and her eyes opened super wide and she said "Hell yeah, I'd vote for her!". That's probably the most excited I've ever seen her on a political topic. Personally, I'd love to see someone like Bernie Sanders or Katie Porter take over the race, but they and many of these other options are unknowns to the normies. Michelle Obama has relatively positive face and name recognition on a national scale. Many Gen-Z voters grew up watching her little snippets on the Disney Channel about the "Magic of Healthy Living". I think young people would actually feel inspired to vote FOR someone rather than against another. Regular people know her. I mean, she already has a potentially great campaign slogan, "America, Let's Get Healthy Together!" Yes Yes Yes! I also thought of Bernie Saunders. I live in UK and when Bernie came to the university of Oxford, he was electrifying ? I was wishing he was in our country to run for Prime Minister. For Bernie’s debate, the hall was crowded with mainly young students, who clapped for about 10 minutes after his answers to questions. I endorse your choice! Bernie’s policies are way ahead of any candidate I’ve heard in the USA.

That was back when Hilary was running in 2016. My entire family worked on his campaign and we would have all voted for Bernie. Unfortunately, at the time, the DNC went with Biden to provide a more centrist candidate. I do believe it was the right thing to do then, as Biden has been an outstanding President thus far. The bottom line is we cannot allow the ultra conservative right to take over our country to implement their crazy plan. project 2025. Our entire country does not need to be dismantled and restructured to benefit the rich. Trump will empty our treasury and literally will be the Manchurian Candidate giving Russia power in our country. Trump sucks and so do most of the criminals he would surround himself with. Just imagine who he would put in charge of Education this time around???

Not going to happen, but another reason Bernie would be a good choice now, in particular, is because he’s a household name. Two things everyone, even just your run of the mill voter, knows about Bernie: he cares about working people over anyone else, and more importantly, he’s unquestionably a person of character.

As a (x2) Bernie supporter, throwing him in there would be a bad idea. If I were Bernie, I'd turn it down. People underestimate Trump all the time. It's wild. Trump winning in 2024 is a done deal. Unfortunately, Fifty (50) Years ago a very small number of very rich, powerful and connected people decided that the last thing on Earth the Two Dominant Political Parties should do is represent and do what's best for, the American People! As a species, every year represents the most advanced we have ever been, reaching greater and greater milestones in terms of technical, medical, engineering, etc. achievements and this, the most powerful country in the history of mankind, this is the best pairing each political party we can come up with to present to you for consideration.
