“Russians are benefiting from President Donald Trump’s trade dispute with China while U.S. soybean farmers are suffering from lost sales.
Bloomberg reported on Thursday that China nearly tripled its purchases of Russian soybeans, setting a record.
Russia sold about 850,000 metric tons of soybeans to China from the start of the 12-month season in July through mid-May, according to Russia’s agriculture agency Rosselkhoznadzor. That’s more than during any season before and compares with about 340,000 tons sold during all of the previous period, Chinese customs data show.
Meanwhile, China has reportedly stopped buying U.S. soybeans after Trump announced tariffs on Chinese steel.
“Whatever they’re buying is non-U.S.,” Bunge Ltd. Chief Executive Officer Soren Schroder told Bloomberg last month. “They’re buying beans in Canada, in Brazil, mostly Brazil, but very deliberately not buying anything from the U.S.””*

I don't agree with they deserve it over a vote. A lot of them thought he was honest because he wasn't paid for. But. Brandon, you kinda lost any credibility when you claimed multiple times that there are battleships anywhere. Sure, Missouri is permanently docked as a museum ship, but no navy in existence employs battleships. Modern capital ships are aircraft carriers, strike carriers and missile cruisers, battleships are completely outdated. Furthermore, it seems that nobody has bothered to told you about the existence of Poland, Baltic countries and Turkey. All of them are NATO countries in close proximity to Russia, and have been for a long time. The former soviet-controlled Baltic countries were performing swirling backflips to get in the NATO immediately when the USSR collapsed and they regained their intelligence. Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania literally share land border with Russia, and they all have US soldiers stationed in them, and have had for over 2 decades as of now.

@@jeffbanner4580 man , the trade deficit hurting USA is the biggest lie if you under stand the eco system of the world for now , because US dollars is the international currency everyone has to buy US dollar 1st then trade with each other (which gives US lots advantages and US government trys so hard to keep it that way ) , means US has to keep Dollars flowing out of the country more then in so there s enough dollars for other countries to buy or use their products to exchange , US only need to print bills to buy products from others, very sweet deal. if the US start switch it to export more and limit import , all the dollar go back to US then other countries got no currency to use for international trade then they ll just go use other currency let's say chinese Yuan , i mean sure US government won't like that.

I do not vote for a person because of the party they belong to, but the person I think is best qualified to do the job. I have or had friends who will not speak to me now because I spoke against Trump from the time he said he was running for president. You cannot get them to just stand back study the things he is doing. They do not just like him they worship him , which is scary. He does not like any of our allies leaders, but he admires the dictators, he even states he does. Trump has his hard core party supporters locked in and the remainder seem too afraid to disagree. He uses the old saying divide and conquer by using all minorities as bad and evil and hurting America. Wasn't this used in Germany in the 1930's by another leader. Study the past if you want a future. I have ranted too long, thanks.

Wish this guy would go over how balancing trade will help the United States Trumps trade Views are right on , everything China and others are supplying we can make here,sure there will be a period of decline in some areas thats a result of past practices and letting are Trade balance get far to unbalanced but in the long run it will help the United States. No ones stealing are job they have been exported by are past leaders you are not stealing what you are giving away lets give are past leaders a pat on the back the past leaders who allowed this situation to get this far . the American worker has been victimized by past practice and now are being treated as the evil doers from something that has brought wealth to other Countries.

My brother chose to be a beekeeper, hard work outside in the Florida heat. He loves it, loves working outdoors. He also tried many jobs during college. What he says is the absolute hardest job he ever tried : picking oranges. He's always admired the pickers since he tried it - he quit after 3 days !!

I worked in the fields and orange groves in FL as a teenager. I got heat stroke my second day on one farm, but I did manage to stick it out the whole season. It was the hardest work I've ever done, but I was a runaway and it was the only legit job I could get. That was back in the 80s

Big Al great comment. The electoral colledge was set in place to protect rich white men and to cancel out black and poor people of color votes. I think you have to have maybe 250 electoral votes, not sure ,but in the 200s Trump had 307 votes. Don't you know the rich white folks elected him because they knew he would protect their interests. Last tax cut benefitted the wealthy. And Trump supporters are happy they may have gotten a few dollars. And some that used to get a return ended up owing IRS. I work seasonally at warehouses and most people I've worked with are Polish or Romanian. Probably 10% are English in most cases. That being said, if you cut off all the welfare you wouldn't need these people to come and do these jobs. The government pays English people not to work and then brings in people to cover for it, essentially..

Riccy R I used to work at one of the biggest Super Store chain distribution centers as a truck driver, this DC was the frozen department so as you can imagine it was minus 25 degrees inside. At break I would be in the canteen and it would be full of Eastern Europeans and rumor has it that several would rent a house and sleep there on varying shifts to keep the cost of living cheap. Being a non-trump support in Kentucky I can say most who used to be strong trump supporters , are strongly reconsidering the decision they made. We have soy bean farms all through Somerset Kentucky, and it’s ridiculous to hear this, because most of those farms use immigrants using the same visa. This is SOUTH EASTERN Kentucky too.

friends of mine come to the US to work in their university programes.We pay 3 000 dollars for the trip and the sleeping place and we get payed 6.5 do 7 dollars per hour. for 3 to 4 months. thats 56 dollars a day 1120 dollars a month sooo for the 3 months we are there we earl 3360 dollars ( food is not included in the 3 000 dollars we pay or the bills for water and electricity) so if you want to make a profit you must work 7/7 days + you beg to take extra hours and you still get payed 6.5 to 7 dollars and that wont be stoped because i dont see an American to work for that wage.

Do you really believe that the only reason companies hire foreign workers is because Americans won't take jobs that require hard work? How about the issue of adequate pay for hard work? By allowing companies to hire foreign workers who generally are willing to work for lower wages, there is no incentive for companies to offer wages that would attract American workers. If we had a shortage in our labor force then of course it would makes sense to hire foreign workers on an as-needed basis. But those same foreign workers should be paid the same wages that American workers are being paid. Enough of the exploitation of people, no matter where they come from.

When I was living in America in the 70's, water melons cost 1 U.S cent a pound. Now back in Singapore it costs me the equivalent 45 US cents a pound. I would buy water for an eternity. But now, I grab it when it sells for that amount. I wouldn't eat water melons, until I was willing to pay. Americans will not work where the job is hard. $17 an hour for construction seems really low. We need a $15 hour minimum wage state wide. I question a lot of these H-2B visas are so important to many businesses because their wages are too low. Definitely in the service industry, which is probably why rich ass trump needs the visas, too.

they pay mexicans MORE than they do americans. thats a fact. i was getting 9.50 an hr for construction. 8 an hr for landscaping. Americans WILL do the work. They would LOVE 17 an hr. but they cant give u consistent work for one. and again they will pay mexicans MORE than an american. i worked in a quail plant for minimum wage only to find out that all the immigrants make more. and then they wonder why we wont do the job as happily as them. and if i do accept minimum wage it REALLY sucks when they expect the world from their workers for slave wages. If u have a criminal record you will almost never get above 11 an hr. the immigrants are not taking our jobs. the business owners are just greedy and wont pay you fair wages.....way too many companies are going thru temp agencies. they pay the agency 18 bucks an hr n wonder why the workers aren't working hard. its because they keep 10 bucks and give the worker 8.50. this is happening. its so sad. half the jobs u apply for wont even tell you the wages. thats crazy

I worked for Williams Sausage factory in Union City, Tn. I personally watched them hired in the breakroom. They gave me a job that I was not certified for. I was certified driving fork lifts. They hired him to drive, he admitted he had no experience and the boss told him no worries your cousin here will train you. This guy no speak no read English!!!! He took the job I applied for!!! Plus I had to drive 30 mins away to apply thru 2 staffing agencies... Plus sometimes had to drive that far to get my check. They got there's right there @ the company on lunch !!!! We have lots of undocumented construction workers here in Canada, especially in home construction. The companies that build the homes, when they are really busy, would not be able to keep up with demand , with out them.
