This isn't taxation in general that is in question. Specifically it is the income tax, and 47% or more do not pay it. I for one would like to know how the got as low as 47% because if you punch in the numbers form the debt clock, you'll get something around 55% that do not pay income tax. Perhaps they exclude certain groups like seniors which brings it down to 47%. The bottom line is 47% don't pay it, and couldn't careless if the tax is cut by 20% for the people that do pay for it.
