The Hunter 4-blade Original with "Adapt-Air" blade-pitch reverse is my all-time favorite! They had 4 of them at a Sizzler Steakhouse that used to be near where I grew up, in the Chicago area (they had 4-light long-arm, polished brass light kits). They always had them in the "reverse setting," even in summer, because the ceiling was kind of low, and it still circulated the A/C pretty well. My dad and I would go there after some of my hockey games... Sadly, while we were on vacation, in 1990, or so, we came back to find they closed that location, and that particular chain of Sizzler's, but we found out there was still another chain of Sizzler's (same restaurant, just a different building style), that were still open ...they had 4-blade Hunter fans there, but not the "Original" style...they closed that branch between '93 and '94, though, and Chicago hasn't had Sizzler's ever since. Every time I see the "Hunter Original" w/ "Adapt-Air" or "Reverse-Air" (the kind where you tilt each blade individually) I think of that old Sizzler Steakhouse that I used to go to with my dad. I actually prefer the "Adapt-Air" reverse system over the reversable motor, hands down! I think it is a superior method. I also like it because you can SEE that the fan is in reverse before you even turn it on... I wish more fans had that type of set-up Also, that was a nice Casablanca fan you have, too! (A very close 2nd favorite of mine!). Anyway, great video! What song was that playing?

Hey! You must be Troy H! I have that last fan you showed, that Hotel Original that you mentioned on DT. I also mentioned it to you on your FASCO Charleston vid when you mentioned the skeletal motors put in Originals today. It's nice to know the Adapt-Air models are still good and powerful fans despite the motors in them so I shouldn't be disapointed in mine when I get mine up.
