Probably one the guys with most finesse and technique i've ever seen , the way he moved , received the ball and passed the ball was actually world class not these modern bums like john connor gallagher even Belligham doesn't have a 1/3 of Thiago's tech , Thiago is closer to Zidane than Jude

@@markb999 in terms of dribbling and passing I would say they on the same scale in terms of press resistance and tight spaces it’s Thiago in terms of athleticism and strength and height it’s Pogba it’s tough between the two but I would take Pogba

A shame he called time so early. I figured he'd end up somewhere playing a deep lying playmaker role like what we saw with late stage Pirlo when Juve had legs around him. But I have fond memories of his career. Especially when he popped up at Barça during that like 2011-2013 period when him and Cesc were insane depth for Barça off the bench anytime they rotated their main midfield. After having to deal with Xavi and Iniesta they'd throw Cesc and Thiago at you 😤🔥 but eventually Cesc went to Chelsea and Thiago went to Bayern.

Thiago was never a klopp type player. If he went to city he would have shone & wouldn't have been as injured.

Lol we was getting injured at Bayern as well just to a much lesser extent, the injuries wouldn’t have changed wherever he went, his 21/22 season proved how good he was under Klopp when fit, especially playing next to a washed Henderson

This is pure bullshit. Klopp knew that midfield needed some control so he decided to go with Thiago which worked for a year tbh. But due to injuries, he went on to bring in another identical player in MacAllister so there's a clear plan there.
