never realized he plays deeper for bayern. He doesnt seem like an 8, more like a 6.

He plays as a 6 but I would say he is best as an 8 or as a 6 in a double pivot, he far too creative to keep back defending all the time that's why he always plays with a natural defensive midfielder, like kimmich or Martinez

well in this video. his style like henderson - box to box player. its just his passing skill is more good than henderson but i think his stamina and def skill is not good than henderson or fabinho. well if you want creativity then he is well suit in liverpool but if you need def, i think fabinho and henderson is more suit.

Thiago is world class, he will make Liverpool a better team. Henderson does not have the skill set on Thiago’s level.

@@midfielderparadisematchhig5785 well you are right too, but like i said thiago is good in certain aspect. it is not that henderson dan fabinho will lose to thiago in all aspect because you said that he is all rounder. if you talk about all rounder, we already have milner eventhough he is aging right now. we have to know too that klopp knows the best which one he need to balance or improve their performance. for my personal opinion, i prefer the talented young players in liverpool. i rather see liverpool still manage to do great in regenerating their squad in the future not like barcelona right now which seems to fail.

I dont know man he could serve liverpool for atleast 4 years , and thiago is an all rounder in midfield, but he is much better than Milner, when is say all rounder I mean he can perform as a DM, CM and AM all at the highest level, klopp needs a player like him that can provide alot of quality creativity and not be baggage in the midfield like ozil

Yes, but he did that effortlessly 90% of the time when under pressure, which nullified the pressing of our front 3. Something we lack when we play away against top 3 teams. Only Fab and Keita are good enough to deal with such press. But you can't play Fab and brexit midfielders against such press & Keita is wasted at 6. A midfield of Fab, Thiago & Keita/ Taki would be one of the best we have seen in years. They work their ass off & are technical great. Can't wait to see Thiago under Klopp.

He was ruined by his teammates in that match. You can see he just doesn't want to pass the ball the Javi Martinez as he won't hold the possession. Look at Thiago in 2020, same playstyle, but more fluid and diversified, cos he has got a lot of good options to pass to.

Try to close him down, he will turn you with that feint thing he does He can pass, start an attack, score. He can defend too. If your losing a game, he will pick up the tempo, because he can. Its gonna be Van Diyk to Thiago all day Whoever spotted Diogo Jota needs a pat on the back too. Perfect for us. What a player. Can play wing, strike, or no 10. 23yr old, got the suprise of his life when Liverpool bought him. Now he is gonna be buzzing to play.

Nah I disagree mate, he is better than all of your midfielders, and his defensive stats are as good or better than some of your midfielders, he is much more creative than all of them
