Thiago Alcantara Will Join FC Barcelona (Explained)

Hansi Flick and Thiago Alcantara have met to discuss a possible role on Barcelona’s coaching staff. The former Spain international, 33, announced his retirement from the game on Monday following his exit from Liverpool at the end of last month. Flick is keen to have the former midfielder as part of his backroom team and has met him in Barcelona for talks. Thiago is now set to consider the proposal.

@@shafirahimzai4197 his natural position was a cm but he was also rotated to be a cdm which was what a meant by saying that he could give future guidance to the player in that position considering that we don’t have anyone else that give them an insight on how the proper Barca cdm should be

If you are great player doesn't mean you can be good or succesfull coach. Alcantara didn't speak german so well at the time in Bayern so I can't see him as translator. Puyol was a part of Barca stuff but was fired or he left, I don't know now. But the point is, players that play well or realy good maybe wont be so good as coach, scout etc.

I think alcantara could have at least played a season at Barca before retiring EPL is a physically demanding league and the way alcantara plays doesn’t suits it He’s more technical So I think he could have being a rotational pivot to whoever we signed this season
