I’m loving the Purito Dermide Relief Barrier Moisturiser and the Pyunkang Intense Repair cream. I find these the most hydrating for my dry skin. I also love the Cosrx advanced snail cream although I don’t find it very hydrating. I love what it does to my skin though. It gives it a wonderful glow. My skin does not get along with the midnight blue calming cream. Some nights I love it. Some nights it pills badly. I haven’t quite worked out what to pair it with. Love your Channel and I wish you all the best for 2023 🙌🏻💕

My hg this winter has been Pyunkang Yul Intensive Repair Cream. And if it is very cold and dry I slather Illiyoon's Ceramide ATO Concentrate Cream (japanese brand) which is very thick and has lots of ceramides. These two with my other skincare products have saved me this winter and I haven't experienced dryness or dehydration even once. I have finally found a routine and products that suite my skin and makes it feel soft, plumped and glowy 🙏🏻 🙌🏻.

@@NOBSBeauty Hi! Do you think the Isntree Yam root cream will be good for me if snail mucin and shea butter (I'm guessing, just as the comment above haha) break me out like crazy? And I keep struggling with damaged skin because of over exfoliation and some pimples because apparently my skin is back to being combo but dehydrated and now gets congested really easily? Here's a breakdown of all the ingredients of if: incidecoder.com/products/isntree-yam-root-vegan-milk-cream Overall it's pretty friendly for acne prone skin, and no Shea butter in it. Sounds like you've damaged the skin barrier a bit (I just did the same thing by overusing my laser). It does take a bit of time for it to come back to equilibrium. Might also be worth considering adding some peptides or copper peptides to help speed the healing process. I think the yam cream is worth a try, it's nicely hydrating and feels so soothing on skin. Keep me posted.

@@NOBSBeauty thanks for replying!! But also...which one between the yam cream and this other one from Numbuzin: No.1 Purple Complex Moisture Balancing Soothing Cream, would be better? 😅 I just don't want to keep wasting money on products that are just not right for me lol which btw I also don't know if the pimples I'm getting are because of the damaged barrier I have, hormones and/or "fungal" so would any ingredient on any of those 2 would trigger any of the situations I might be in? Or...should I just buy a good ol' aloe vera I can find on any korean online shops? Lol

Ooh, moisturiser is my fave skin-care product so I loved this vid! ^_^ 💜 My holy grail moisturiser is the wonderfully thick and rich "Jaxon Lane, Relax & Repair" (star ingredients include centella asiatica, niacinamide, ceramides, hyaluronic acid, squalane, ginseng, seaweed). The ingredients are "clean" (no dimethicone etc) and fragrance-free :) Although Jaxon Lane is a California-based company, the moisturiser is made in Korea. Have you tried it? I'm defo going to check out your recommendations :) Thank you for another super-helpful vid! Love from the UK 💗

Hi Sarah I haven't used that many K beauty moisturisers because often they're not rich enough. My skin is extremely dry with both rosacea and eczema, plus I'm menopausal and produce no sebum of my own anymore - dry dry dry. I tried a few a couple of years ago including the snail cream, dear klairs and the purito mentioned (as well as the Illyoon), but none of them were rich enough tbh. The only one I ever tried that was is the intensive cream from Pyunkang Yul. I need something super rich/buttery in the colder months and am currently using the PC ultra rich cream during the day and their soothing body butter at night as my night cream. If I could get something as rich as those that was cheaper, then that would be nice. Of all of these which is the richest? Best wishes.
@NOBSBeauty
@NOBSBeauty Жыл бұрын
All of these are wonderful- my top two... the Aestura 365 Barrier Cream is definitely the most rich/thick and is so hydrating! Cannot wait to do my full review of it! The next would probably be the Isntree Yam Vegan Milk Cream which is super thick as well- it does spread a bit easier than the Aestura. If I were you I think I'd go with the Isntree- it seems to do a good job sealing everything in and works great morning and evening, whereas the Aestura is one that I can only make work in my evening routine because it just doesn't spread quite easily.

Have you tried mixing a couple of drops of oil in with your moisturizer? I'm also postmenopausal with extremely dry skin along with being on tretinoin, and I found that mixing oil in with my moisturizer helps tremendously. I used the ordinaries B oil at night and their rosehip seed oil during the day.
@lorainemcgillivray77
@lorainemcgillivray77 Жыл бұрын
@@cstatum1 Yes I have and I also often use a balm over my moisturiser at night. It's just that my skin is so incredibly dry. I need something thick/buttery as a cream and then add whatever on days where it's even more parched than usual. I'm also using the PC omega serum under my moisturisers for extra help with the dryness. When people say they have dry skin and mention the moisturisers they use, they're just not enough for me usually. I use oil regularly mixed in or on top or underneath - whatever works best with the particular product. Thank you though.

Hello! I've been a fan of your channel for a couple of years now and I love it when you focus on products for normal/VERY dry/anti-anging skin. I'm now post menopausal and am noticing fines lines creeping up around the mouth area. I have been using La Roche PosayToleraine Double Repair for a few years but now Im adding in LRP Toleraine Ultra on top because I am extra dry now especially during winter. Also, the past couple weeks I've added a oil on top such as Timeless Argan Oil which has helped a lot. I really love Mad Hippies Anti Oxidant oil as well as their Face Cream! But, I am looking for dupes for both of the La Roche Posay moisturizers I mentioned because they aren't cruelty free. They work so well for me and I LOVE them both but I can't find anything comparable yet. I would love it if you have any suggestions. TY :)
@NOBSBeauty
@NOBSBeauty Жыл бұрын
Oh thank you so much for your comment! I wish LRP was cruelty free- when I started my channel I really thought by now all brands would be cruelty free but sadly we just aren't there yet. I have a few suggestions for a cruelty free alternative for the LRP Toleraine Double Repair- the ELF Pure Skin Moisturizer is a good one and probably the first one I'd try in it's place. The other one is the Purito Centella Unscented Recovery Cream, If you want to try something similar but a little more rich the Summer Fridays Jet Lag Mask is a great sleeping mask- just apply it as your last step in your evening routine. The best dupe (and the only fragrance free dupe) for the Toleraine Ultra is the First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Face Cream, but that is kind of in a "cruelty free gray area" because they are selling online in China which puts them in that gray area of being "kind of" cruelty free.
