@@davedarius7346depends all on build quality. I had an lg optimum that ran android 2 that was unstoppable. Dropped from roofs, in water it only ended up in the trash after I gave it to my sister and the speaker died so she threw it out😂 but then again they don't make phones like they used to.

It depends entirely on the impact angle. A phone can drop from what you'd think is the shortest height and be shattered, or fall from an impressive height and be mostly fine

I'm a bumbling dumbass. Back in 6 or 7th grade, my mom had given me her old iPhone and upgraded. She got me one of those heavy-duty cases, and it honestly felt like I was carrying a weapon around. It still couldn't save it, though, and I haven't really trusted having an iPhone since.

Something to keep in mind is that he dropped the phones flat, so the force of the impact was distributed more evenly. If it had landed on an edge, or God forbid a corner, then you have more chances of the phone cracking, even within the case. Cool to see that both of the cases do their job pretty effectively, but I do think that you should be wary of thin cases still, because most of the time, I personally do not believe that the corners would be safe with those cases.

the fact that the thin case absorbed the shock and didn't make the phone flip on the screen is actually really good. i had enough phones fall down, survive but then bounce and flip and the screen is ruined.
