@@BadGuyGoodAudioReviews I know its a big ask but can you do a ranking of legacy + mangrids where you show the worst to best and where they fall next to each other? E.G. L3 < L4 < Mangrid MT4 < L5 < Mangrid Tea < L9 I feel like a lot of people are trying to figure out which of the 'mutli-ba+dd' hybrid configurations they should be getting. If it's hard to do an absolute ranking and you do actually decide to go ahead with my massive ask then an idea is to do a best to worst of different categories. E.G. Resolution, tonality, stage, etc like you do with your polygonal graph things. Thank you so much for your contributions to the community. Wish you all the best

Planning on getting the L3 for Podium and studio use as a bassist. Should I go for a L4 instead?

I'm new to audiophile stuff so would like to start with a DAP (acmee mf01) and a decent pair of IEM. I mostly listen to J-Pop/Trance with a bit of instrumental/classical music. Oh! and rhythm games too (EDM/pop/trance/hardstyle/instrumental piano). L4's price is quite a stretch for my budget (prefer something $150 or less) but if it's worth the upgrade over L3 then I'll get the L4. Which one would you recommend?

I'll be looking forward to your Qudelix K5 and ES100 reviews. I have 2 ES100 and one isn't even out of the box yet. I'm saving it for whenever my current ES100 dies. Use that puppy almost every day and Fiio Q1MK2 not getting as much time anymore. The bluetooth convenience and LDAC capability, as well as a powerful balanced output is what makes me going back to it. Easy to connect to my phone too, so no need for a dap. Also love the app and playing with EQ.

I am really enjoying the L4. I enjoyed the L3 , but this is a worthwhile upgrade. A lot of performance for the money.

B2 is "Bright" L4 slightly less so, that is why I prefer L4.

This. B2 and B2 dusk have fat tapered nozzles that cause pain after 30 minutes.

Not at all. Cymbals should be natural sounding. L4 has good extension

Just received the KBear Believe and everything is quite nice. Items are beautiful and the cable is great. The case to store them is one of my favs. But most important I really enjoy the sound.

@@BadGuyGoodAudioReviews Early sound impressions: I have heard Legacy 3 and Legacy 5 and these really do fit right in between those two. The bass has really nice punch like in L3 but not as deep as L5 but still excellent. The mids are forward and elevated, clear vocals. Treble I think is where the improvement lies. It more prominent and extends well up the range. Not as warm as L5 but more detailed and more sparkly. Not Monarch level precision but really good. I have not heard Clair so I can’t say how it compares to that one but the best treble out of L3 and L5. Such an easy recommendation for the price and should get the following like the Legacy 3 did as it is a more refined and enjoyable music listen. Yep, they did it again and are on a roll. The shell is noticeably smaller and fits in the ear so nicely and no comfort issues so far. I really like this set and will probably be seriously hyped as more people get them in hand.

Maybe yes. I think it is a sleeper set liket he Mangird TEA. Slow start to a solid following of music lovers after a while. I'll get that vid out to move it along :)

@@BadGuyGoodAudioReviews is it a good idea to have one of everything like for example i have shozy form 1.1 and tin t3 both of them are budget hybrid with dd and ba. But, i want all BA with 300usd as mid tier hifi like t800 or if thieaudio released voyager 5 or 6 to have more options. Then go tribrid, electrostatic etc....

I have had the L4 for a few days and I agree with all that has been said about the treble. Much improved over the L3. Much more detail and clarity as a result. Mids are improved as well, vocals much more upfront the way I prefer. At first, I thought the bass was a little lacking , but as I listen more, it’s actually perfect. No bloat, just impactful and detailed. Probably selling My L3.

The L3 I have are fantastic. Someone new to Thie would be wise to grab L4 but for L3 and 5 owners it's not radically different

@@BadGuyGoodAudioReviews still good spend for L3 now, since L4 came out? I have L3 budget now, costume faceplate i mean. Some reviews said better if it is 2 pins connector than QDC. But, if L4 way better, i will hold it and wait until my budget enough.

I used to beat myself up if everything I did did not turn out perfectly until I heard an interview with a famous artist who was asked if they were ever afraid of making mistakes. They replied by stating they made mistakes all the time but they learn from the experience and simply move on to the next project. They can improve and perfect quite quickly. Or not...but the ability to put out great gear at a good price is clearly there now. Headphones is the next arena to occupy
