De Bruyne has only played 412 minutes this season. In those 412 minutes, he has 2 goals and 7 assists. He’s averaging a G/A contribution every 45 minutes. That ratio would be even higher if they had credited him with an assist for Foden on the 3rd goal. A slight deflection on his pass took the assist away from him.

That first goal by De Bruyne was so clean and tidy, that he is where he is after being out so long must put fear into anyone they face. Taking nothing away from Foden, but that first goal by KDB was special. The last goal by Foden almost looked like a set-play -- how the hell do you game for that?

He will win atleast one/ if possible even 2 balondors by the end of his career. He just needs to focus on his city career, for Belgium he's always been the pivot and that needs to continue. But if lakaka doesn't improve his decision making in clutch moments then Belgium won't get anywhere.

After Jack was injured and foden went down every one was worried, bcoz they are suddenly thinking one more player down and then who do we play. They only manage by playing 1 players in multiple positions otherwise quantity wise they have the smallest squad.

Its funny how media tries to post some players as best player in the world. When in reality KDB is levels above every those players. I think he is the best player in the world now and he deserves that title to be called as best player in football right now. He has been in prime for 8 years + look at him he couldnt run for 4 months cuz of surgery I dont know any one noticed or not he had a huge black surgery cut mark above his right knee And that looks scary. 412 min 7 assist 2 goals Thats 45 per GA and he is a midfielder. Rodri sticks this team but city with kdb, city is 2x more scary Can score, can assist, can impact if u think kdb is not on the greatest midfielders list i dont know why u still watching this game.

Why are all the Pandit is so ignorant about Manchester City injuries. Jack got injured today. Bernardo Silva injured Gvardiol is injured. Kova is injured. Kevin De Bruyne just came back after six months. Haaland has been injured for three months. Jeremy has been injured for two months. So Manchester City are also struggling with injuries.

We also had stones out for a long time, grealish had a prior injury too, Sergio Gomez got injured, akanji has been injured at times and missed games... people just ramble on about the city squad just so they have a reason to devalue our success - "impossible to compete with MCFC squad" etc.

I have a crazy theory that KDB scores goals to set up his passing. If he only looked for assists, defenders could give him space and crowd his teammates. His scoring means defenders can't do that, which opens up space for his teammates and creates opportunities for assists

He deserves Ballon D’or , football is so blinded by stats and top goals scorers. It’s a team game , strikers can’t do what they do without the other players. And considering kdb plays as a box to box CM he’s stats are insane for goal involvements. Bare in mind he played with Jesus and Sterling who must have robbed him of at least another 50/60 assists possibly more.

It's not because of these things really, but imo it coincides with covid and Russia not being involved in football - since then it's gone massively downhill in general on all stages of the sport.

@@sfb4144 why do you think people say you cheated?😂 Before we even talk about the 115 charges (which it’s realistically probably triple that) you won the lottery, you didn’t build up over decades to get where you are. You got the easy way to the top. But the reason you are literally ‘cheaters’ is because you won the lottery and you have been lying about how much money you have Ben getting of sponsors for years. It was in 2009 I think (correct me if I’m wrong) UEFA actually went after city and found out that you’re lying about how much sponsors were paying you but because you are literally owned by a state capital and one of the richest countries in the world, UEFA just didn’t have the money to go after them. The footballing world is literally waiting for someone with enough money to go after you, and you will be exposed. You already have been exposed, that’s why everyone calls you cheaters, it’s not came from nowhere. It’s just you haven’t been exposed ‘officially’. It will come and city will fall

He’s a great player but he is not one of the best of all time. Media is pushing this narrative and causing KDB hype. He’s overrated, excellent player but look at the team he’s on (wonder when FFP will lay down the law on this overspending team, all those breaches and nothing yet Everton is getting penalized twice for the same offence). He’s definitely world class, but not an all timer. For one he’s ALWAYS injured. 2) city wins trophies with or without him. He couldn’t do anything for Belgium though, yet he’s so elite? City squad is so talented that it opens up space for each player because teams have to mark every single city player on the pitch
