Working with the Fort Worth Police Department, we found 5 stolen vehicles underwater in Lake Como, Texas along with several stolen safes, and ATMs.
This documentary brings you alongside Adventures With Purpose's Fall 2021 Road Trip stopping off in Fort Worth, TX to train other divers in the process of identifying vehicles underwater, expanding the mission of solving cold cases of missing persons.

What stood out most to me was the professionalism from the officer. I'm sure that this was all prearranged ahead of time but I his attitude towards the whole thing was just awesome. I've seen other videos before where local governments seem to treat y'all like an inconvenience. Props to PD. 🚓 🚨 🚓

That cop is like, "i just need to kick back, drink my coffee, let these youtube junkies solve all these crimes. I go back to the station, write reports for a week, and sign them. I just solved a pile of cold case crimes in an afternoon, and all I had to do was smile and refill my coffee. this cop thing is not hard". seriously, the smart cops and departments should appreciate what these guys do, that costs the tax payers nothing compared to the state trying to do it.

Grown up in Fort Worth and ya'll basically cleaning up Lake Como means a lot. Alot of the lower income areas get "missed" when they city does Cleans Ups. So much appreciate what ya'll did for the environment.

Just commenting to say that I spotted someone wearing an AWP shirt on a tv show. Granted it's just a background person on a TLC show, but like, it got me so excited when I spotted it mid episode. I only discovered the channel about a year ago, but it's been amazing to see all the support come through and watch you guys get awesome equipment because of it (I can't even count how many families you've helped, it's so many now) Having the 3 different sonars has got to be a godsend for making life easier compared to the old days. I don't think I'm ever going to stop getting over excited from spotting other fans in the wild haha.

I love it when officers are cooperative and kind especially with the missing person cases. They're often spread thin with limited funding so why not have professionals come in for free since they both want the same goal. Even if you already checked, no one is infallible and it doesn't hurt to have someone else double check. Especially since they're very good about handing over the vehicle to them so they can do their job once the vehicle is on land. At worst they help clean up the environment and I'm all for that. These guys are awesome!

Great to see cops working with you, chatting, being informative VS the ones on other videos who are so defensive. I think it would be interesting to have some kind of follow up video on this crime of the safes and ATMS. Interview the police to find out where they are at in capturing the people and/or if caught what their sentence is. Those type of stories most people just never hear the end results plus people never hear of how much time involved the police have to do in the investigations of these type of crimes.

I really enjoyed this video! The job you guys do must be so physically and emotionally draining. To be able to have some fun and decompress is essential to prevent you all from burning out. To be able to have some fun while also teaching/learning with others is a bonus! The knowledge and experience that the AWP team has is incredible. To share all of that is another great way to help and give back to the communities. Although there are many police or official search teams out there that do a good job, there also seem to be many that either don't know where to search, how to search, how to work with others, or how to ask for help. The reaction that some give -- like the sheriff from the Nicholas Allen search, or the ones in the Antonio Amaro Lopez search -- is baffling. The more people you can teach to do what you do, the better. We need more people advocating for the families. There are so many families that are looking for answers. I can't imagine what it's like to be in their situation. Thanks for all that you do!

I started watching your channel when you were just collecting trash and pulling cars. I really enjoyed watching your rig the lift bags to the cars and "float" them out. Don't get me wrong, finding missing people makes very compelling episodes and I enjoy them. But, I am really looking forward to the rest of these episode, the look like they will be lots of fun!!!

It always blows my mind at the amount of vehicles you guys find in different bodies of water. It's crazy to find out how many get dumped for criminal activity. Plus it also blows my mind how far out in the water some vehicles get. I understand in rivers there is a strong current that can push them but even in lakes some vehicles are far out too.

Fun fact: all newer ATM’s that are outside drive through have bollards placed exactly so no chain or strap can be used to pull them out. The bollards are there to keep it from moving. Bonus: They are tracked by GPS and if bumped hard enough it will call police to that location…. Great job guys

There was an ATM stolen from a bank near Atoka OK. Early 2021. I believe it was found quickly, but just shows how people think they can get away with it. What I don't know is if those responsible were caught?

Its really good to see the increase in law enforcements willingness to work with you guys over the past few years. I mean really it's not like you guys are trying to show them up or anything. It's just that you guys seem to have better imaging systems and more experience using them and they are starting to realize that and are embracing it. In the end its not about who does what its about closing cases and bringing closure to families who otherwise would not get that. Good on you guys!

Hi Jared! Looks like you folks are having fun! It's good to see that because so often you folks get involved in the recovery of folks and that has to be tough! Looks like you guys are helping to solve a lot of crime too even while having some fun! Reminds me of a Mortician that had an old hearse. The car kept breaking down costing him a lot of money. He didn't have enough income to buy a new one, so he decided to get the insurance company to buy one for him. Late one night he drove it to a local lake and drove it into the water. He saw it sink then went back to the funeral parlor and called the police to report the car stolen. Little did he know, after he left the lake, the car floated back to the surface. The police arrested the mortician and charged him with insurance fraud. The moral of the story is "You can lead a hearse to water but you can't make it sink!"

It’s refreshing to see you guys having fun while doing what you do best. Recovering missing loved ones is honorable but can take a toll on your mental health. There needs to be time to decompress. I LOVE what you are doing so much! I have only one tiny request - when you make a video - a summary of the case you are involved with - the name, what happened to them, photos, just a 5 minute history of it. This was fun. I watched the live videos (on replay) at the time. I wasn't aware that there was a monetary competition between dive teams on the day (2nd day, if I recall). Officer Buddy was fun that day, too. Anyway, I've enjoyed seeing this again, but from a different perspective. Good job (& good training, too). I'm looking forward to the remainder of the videos (inc the show day to know how many or how few cars Officer Buddy left you with, lol). Great video, guys. 😁👍🇦🇺
