Sometime between 12 a.m. and 7 a.m. on May 8th, a California man’s lawn was stolen. Someone pulled up about 300-square feet of artificial turf In front of Brian Michael Stoller’s Studio City townhouse, he says. Stoller says he has contacted police, but doesn’t hold much hope for the return of the fake grass. There are cameras on the property, but none were trained on the plastic grass. Stoller says he now wants to come up with a way to keep his lawn right where he put it.

CHEAP FIX: get dead grass sod slabs to fill that gap. nail in place; mow nicely. do NOT water! affix cardboard slices around it, inserted vertically along the edges. spray paint the dead grass with medium green color; remove cardboard. voila! nice looking "grass" that is useless, worthless to steal but looks great. been there, done that, works great.
