What impact does the thickness of the watch have on usability? We will take a quick look at watches ranging from 15mm down to 8mm in thickness. Keep in mind that the type of crystal, case type, and strap play a role in the durability, scratch resistance, and overall profile of the watch off the wrist? What are you favorite case thicknesses?

I personally really enjoy ultra thin watches, everything in my collection is sub 9mm thick, the thinnest being 4.4mm thick! Once you reach the sub 6mm region youll need to buy straps with no bolstering.

Thin watch collections are a whole different animal. I've got my eye on a Citizen Stiletto. Great advice on the straps. Thanks for watching.

I have owned two North Edge watches. Both were good but I gave them away. Practical guys like us do need something slim with a crystal that is slightly tucked away. It just makes life slightly easier.

Love a butch, chunky watch. I get the purpose of a dress watch and the lower profile it needs. But presence in a wristwatch works for me every time. Thanks for a good review. Love the theme music too, subscribing.

Finally got the Signum Full Lume GMT. Absolutely loving it. I've found the Bambinos (I have the exact same one as you) thinness is quite functional as I can slip it under a shirt cuff to protect it. If I'm at an event and helping out with cleanup or lifting tables this is super practical to prevent damage to the watch.

Signum full lume GMT...If only I had waited...I would've preferred that additional function. Bambino is a GREAT watch.

Tim, you don't need to label your uploads as "HD 1080p". That's considered the KZfaq default minimum anyway. 4K uploads sure, but the HD label is totally irrelevant.

That was a label KZfaq put on?? I'll go back and check the title...I think it defaults to a title based on type of file when the file is uploaded.

I really like watches that are 12mm or less. One of the most comfortable I own is a Lorier Falcon II: it’s small at 36mm, 11mm thick, & weighs about 115 grams on the bracelet.

It’s an interesting experience to put a ‘thin’ watch and feel how shirts slide over the watch without hesitation, no slapping back and forth like one gets with dive watches, and light weight! Thanks for commenting.
