Try steering the conversation in a more flirtatious direction and see if he plays along. But keep in mind that guys can be oblivious. If you’re bold, you can tell him the reasons why you find him likable and ask him if he’s ever felt curious to explore something more with you. As for “signs” everyone is different. Some people try so hard to hide how they feel that they end up sending mixed signals. Still being in contact with you says something. He has no obligation to interact with you. If a guy likes you he will take any excuse to hang out in person. Give him an excuse to hang out in person, no pressure and not a date. The way a guy looks at you and acts around you is the easiest way to tell. You can’t read people through their messaging habits with 100% accuracy. ask him “Be honest, or if curiosity have you ever thought about me in that way? Or nah?
