Hi Martin, great vlog mate. Don't lose the pleasure side of doing your videos. It must be difficult enough whilst your still working. Martin …. Years ago I videoed a friends wedding with a Ferguson Videostar over my shoulder linked by thick cable to a recorder in buggy pushed by my wife ! I thought I was bees knees when I did their Silver Wedding with a hand held Mini C VhS camcorder years later! If I’d known that I’d be able to get cinema quality sound and vision from a thin thing I could fit in my back pocket … I’d have been taken away by the men in white coats !! Bin the big gear and carry on with iPhone … justify that outlay ! Great work Martin !

Hi Howard, I hired a video camera years ago, one that you put on your shoulder. It was a beast and weighed a tonne! Phones are just amazing these days and do the job well. Thanks for all the support over the years, Martin

Dead right …. And I remember having to edit on linear edit suite using blacked vhs or SVHS tapes . Thing is … now it IS so easy using a phone and even editing on phone I can’t be arsed !!😂

The quality of the vlogs are great but it’s not down to the equipment you use, it’s you… simple as that. I fitted a motor mover down to one of your early vlogs and never regretted it. Couldn’t care how you made the vlogs but keep it up 👍 well done…!!!👍👏👏

Hi Martin, picture and sound really good in the caravan. It would be interesting to see what it is like outside. Unless you are making millions from KZfaq like Mr Beast then an iPhone is the way to go. Keep up the videos as things always go wrong with caravans and KZfaq is the first place to find out how to fix them.

If you hadn't told me that using your phone, I wouldn't of been any of the wiser. I can't use my phone as I have a nervous shake, so I have a second hand gopro hero seven. And a couple of external wired mics. So I agree with you, there's no need for fancy cameras and wireless mics.

Quality was fine , seemed bright enough. Sound was clear. If it means you can capture more content quickly and easily then that has to be right I think. I don’t watch you for HD quality movie surround sound. I watch for knowledge and interest about how to look after my caravan. Thank you Martin

Hi Martin, Phone cameras are so good these day, I wouldn't worry. My phone can record in 8k, there is no way I can edit that on my laptop lol. Keep safe👍

Yes, I usually put the rear tyres up to full load which is 41 psi. You will notice a difference when towing. Cheers

I like your channel because its a true review and to be honest if you hadn't done some of your videos I would not have had a clue how to do stuff Seeing Videos of areas gives you good idea where to go Though each time we have gone to lake district its rained But like you say you yourself have got to enjoy doing these videos otherwise it becomes a choir and you stop enjoying Don't think you need expensive camera and video equipment I have go pro 10 and video recorder but think I have used go pro top side 5 times video recorder used about 2 times easier to use phone Though just family videos not for you tube Though must say good video

@@TheCaravanNut We have decided to site our caravan as its as big as small static . Chosen a site We like but can still use for touring if we want to Or even change site if we find out not to our liking Storage site was £750 and expecting it to go up so with siting money from storage goes a long way Price is £3200 from 1st March to 30 November And storage is £150 from 1st Dec to March The Grange Leisure park Mablethorpe Has everything there and beech 20min walk Don't know if you have been but everything there for kids Though one of our son in law more interested in fishing and golf so going to be using caravan daughter more interested in tennis and aqua park And other daughter and son in law was impressed that restaurant does gluten free dairy free and vegetarian Not one of them had licence to pull caravan but now it's getting sited we may end up fighting for turn lol

To be honest I wouldn’t known it was only done on an iPhone. Keep using that and avoid the so called professional kit with all the hassle and expense that comes with it. This quality is fine 👍

I edit on my Mac Air and use Davinci Resolve which is free to download the basic edition, it has more than enough features to use. Cheers

Hi Martin. I think you're doing the right thing. There's nothing wrong with this vlog. I think sometimes people's vlogs can be over produced and not to the point which also makes them a tad too long. Content rather the "quality" of the production for me. I'd rather see a good tip, or a site/ location review. I hate it when vloggers put crap music on especially when it's played over the dialogue. Keep up the good work. We always enjoy your videos.
