I will say a prayer for you Josh. I am terminally ill and have no hope of remission but I maintain my joy in the Lord. I try to never complain and never ask why me? Because in the end. It does me no good and it could have happened to anyone. I battle Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension, Immune Thrombocytopenia, and Autoimmune Hepatitis every day but I’m still here. And I’m thankful despite my struggles and constant pain. One day I would love to fish with you, when you’re doing better of course. Been a fan of yours for several years now. Anyways, praying the surgery works if that’s the route you decide to take.

Hey man. Been watching since 15k followers. Remember I hit you up because my parents just bought a house in Naples florida and I saw you fishing near me. You literally brought me so much advice and even offered to get connected sometime. Haven’t checked up on the channel in a while and saw this. My heart dropped bro. I’m so sorry for what you’re going through. I’m praying endlessly for you. I pray that God just uses this time as a quick time for rest for you, you’ve been grinding for so long man. I'm an interventional radiologist from Massachusetts ... and big fisherman! My 13 yo old son and I always love your addicting and educational fishing videos! My son just showed me this video update. I've done a number of lymphangiograms and duct embolizations. Hopefully you got the procedure and are doing well. We wish you the best of luck and tight lines soon!

What an inspiration of a human being. I have been praying, and even though you're still dealing with a lot, hearing you say "The Cancer is gone" gave me chills. So strange how you can be so proud of someone you've never met before. Your kids have a warrior of a father. You are my hero, Josh! You, my friend, have given me more support than you realize. I had to have all my teeth pulled due to a dental infection with orthodontic complications over several years ago. I have discovered several foods I can eat and some I can't eat. Soooooo, I just hang in there and eat what I can. If it's jello, fine I like the feeling of going down my throat. Hang in there buddy and everything will work out for you and me, both.!!!! P.S. I love fish, especially, salmon, and trout.

My mother was diagnosed with cancer when I was 9 years old. She fought with the same determination and joy that I see and hear from you. @@staytight6340 God may not always answer your prayers in the way you are expecting. Sometimes he is silent others he is not. It's up to us to decipher his messages. God is great. Jesus is my Savior. And he will always welcome you back to the fold. Remember he loves you! He died for you. He is there for you. You just have to open yourself up. Look into the book of JOB. You may find some inspiration there. God bless you!

I was too tired and didn't want to make dinner, but then I watched this and said let's make a salad for Josh!! I'm gonna eat and think about what you said about not taking any meals for granted because it is so true... Josh, I can really relate to the cheeseburger craving, after three months in the ICU, losing all my muscular mass from being fed by something really similar to what you have, it was such a struggle for me too, so yeah, we all have to be thankful for being able to do simple stuff like eating, no one can imagine how hard it is to lose basic stuff like that. Keep it going and keep strong, we are all behind you Josh.

My sister just got out of the hospital to have an ulcer removed, and she went 14 days without having any foods (not even jello or broth), so I've seen first hand how depressing and frustrating it can be to not eat food for that long! Another great verse that I thought of when my sister was in the hospital was Rom 5:3-5 - "Not only that, but we rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance, and endurance produces character, and character produces hope, and hope does not put us to shame, because God's love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us." Thanks for the update, and we're praying you are able to heal and get to eating again soon!

Hey man I wouldn’t say you took anything for granted, I think that we have so much to be thankful for that we often forget to thank God for everything that he does for us. All I’ve ever seen is good and positivity come from you and the ppl you surround yourself with and I’m sure they felt it also. So taking anything for granted I can’t say you’ve done. Making the best of out whatever time he’s blessed you with is what I’d call it and now he’s giving you the time to reflect on all the small things that you and plenty of others including myself may tend to kinda look over at times but I’m sure you’re thankful for (and have been) even the smallest joys in life! I won’t make this comment super long, I just wanted to come by and say hi and let you know that I’ll keep sending my prayers to God and I’m certain you’ll be ok brother! Take care!

This verse helped me greatly when I was going through indescribably difficult times, “Whenever a woman is in labor she has sorrow, because her hour has come; but when she gives birth to the child, she no longer remembers the suffering because of the joy that a child has been born into the world.” John 16:21 Whenever we come through these challenging times there is alway a clear awakening to what’s really important in life. I pray that your body heals as it should and you remain cancer free, and free to enjoy the blessings of that which you most cherish in life; and that by the example of your joy and gratitude others are blessed by God in your presence. 🙏❤️☀️☺️✝️
