I really want them to expand more on the hand-to-hand combat even more than red dead 2 did

They should definitely include things back from the SA and VC days in my opinion. Preferably going to the gym, playing minigames and doing various side jobs and of course having gang wars and "empire building" mechanics but way more advanced. Honestly, GTAV's side stuff were pretty limited and forgettable.

Honestly the thing that intrigues me the most is the graphics. I mean If we are honest, very few games look truly "next gen". Just look at RDR2 and imagine what they can do with GTA 6

I'm more than certain this GTA is gonna be called Grand Theft Auto VICE or something like that. The VI from 6 fits perfectly for the Vice City name in the title. Maybe the VI in the word vice is specifically highlighted or stands out from the full word and formatted so that it sits below the Grand Theft Auto name, like how they did with GTA SA/ GTA VC/ etc. not at the end of the "Auto" like in 3, 4, and 5

One thing I'd love to see in GTA 6 is a mechanic that allows you to increase your stats in a realistic way. For example if you want to level up your shooting/aim you need to go to a firing range. If you want to increase your strength you go to the gym and lift weights.

In singleplayer they should add an option for ”realism”. If turned on you would have to maintain your character and vehicles. You would have to eat and exercise in order to stay healthy. You would get dirty and grow hair. You would have to stop at a gas station eventually, perhaps a quick charge of an electric. Maybe bleeding would slowly kill you if not treated. If turned off, it’s like previous GTAs

I am curious if it will incorporate businesses similar to online or like vice city stories where you took over territories and had to fight gangs constantly Or will it be heists again

1. Expanding on hand to hand combat 2. Better crash physics (having your car accumulate damage to the point where it is disabled, or if you hit something head on at high speed it destroys the car. 3. Completely overhauling the shooting mechanics 4. Incorporate side things you could do in san andreas (BURGLARY MISSIONS, going to the gym, playing pool and basketball etc). 5. Tons of random encounters like in RDR2 (made the world feel so much more alive).

A few things i want is a co-op mode on singleplayer, a more grounded multiplayer, a hard mode (kinda like doom's nightmare mode) which is a more realistic version of the gameplay, campaing updates, the return of gta 4 driving physics and more activities in the singleplayer how you could work as a cop in gta 4 or do street races in gta 5

I hope they add a mechanic where your in-game actions, (hanging out, story choices and ways you go about missions etc) effect the way the other characters and NPC’s view you. Like a relationship meter that effects how they treat you on cutscenes and gameplay and it slightly alters the story in a way

I think opening the mission design a bit more would be an interesting aspect for a rockstar game because I think thats my main issue as well with their games its the handholding u hit the right points in this video imo Fizhy

If it's anything like RDR2 Imma be happy. In my eyes RDR2 was the best narrative and world of the last decade. Masterfully presented. The next GTA will be massive. one thing i would love to see, at least in the next RDR (not too invested in GTA but the idea works with it) Survival mode, where you do need to eat sleep and drink (the mechanics are there) to survive and not just heal or at the very least a difficulty scale.

Ok here are some basic things I want 1. More building interiors and the chance to rob someones house. 2. More mini games. 3. A mix of the goofy atmosphere of Gta San Andreas and the darker atmosphere of Gta IV, With the general brightness of Gta V. 4. Npc Interactions like RDR2. 5. Strangers and mystery's. 6. Expanded Wild life. 7. More diverse Npc models. (For example in earlier games you could easily find the same npc module.) 8. More food items and choices with a more advanced way of carrying food and drinks. (like RDR). 9. The ability to buy houses, properties and pets. (Mainly for gta 6 Online, If there is one.) 10. More complex hand to hand combat like Gta IV and RDR2. 11. Bring Restaurants and food stands back. 12. Gta IV drunken system. 13. Updates to single player. 14. Military Vehicles. 15. A more advanced underwater ecosystem.

I very much see what you’re getting at and agree wholeheartedly, regarding mission structure. Please be patient with me, as it’s impossible to explain in one sentence. But, what that comes down to, in my view, is two key factors: 1) Letting the story have three or more wholly different narrative endings. This would allow you to play key story missions in your own way, setting your character on different paths, as part of the actual MISSION structure. One of the biggest frustrations players feel is when their sense of control is yanked out of their hands at CRUCIAL moments. Structuring the missions so they have their cut scenes, triggered the player’s choices and how they play ONLY, would be way preferable and far more dynamic. But it would require the next element in order to work: 2) ALLOW THE PLAYER TO FAIL! What I mean by that is, sure you can have the same system in which you can revisit mission to replay them at any point, so as to get your gold medals, etc, BUT: If you have three or more completely different outcomes, that requires including that dreaded phrase that so many games companies (lookin’ at you, Ubisoft) hate, which is, “MISSABLE CONTENT!” Fortunately, Rockstar has a great reputation for this in regard to environmental storytelling, side quests and hidden treasures and characters. But what if they did that with the main quest lines, where each chapter of the main narrative could be completely different, depending on what choices you made in the main quests? If key characters can get killed, therefore shutting down an entire thread of the plot. You could even have a bespoke cut scene for the player who has played so nihilistically that their story simply ends there and the game has told them. Still free to wonder that world and discover its other secrets and some of the side quests, but unable to move forward with a story in which you allowed the main cast to die, or just spontaneously killed them all yourself!? One of Bethesda’s Fallout games had such a device in it, where you could literally kill everyone, from NPC’s to main characters, shutting down plot line after plot line, until there was very little left to do. But, crucially, the player was notified of all the quests they failed, in game. I didn’t play it myself, but I saw a clip from Sceptical Gamers, demonstrating this, with a nuke, I think? It goes off and notifications just keep coming, one after the other, that all these people are dead, thus you failed their side and main quests. Yet the world is still open for you to play in what remains of it. Now, that would be a GAME!

I would love to see more random encounter missions

Some things i’d love in gta 5: -realistic gameplay, more so than any other rockstar game. That means realistic physics, vehicle damage, vehicle handling.. -police chases to be more fun, and challenging. Cops n crooks for online -blood that actually looks real (there’s something about rdr2 and gta 5 that looks like red wax) -as many side activities, like vigilante, that gta sa had.

hearing about the animation stuff they've patented I'd love to see people swarm intersections when doing donuts much like the takeover in the trailer. Won't be disappointed either way, cant wait!

I knocked out Mike Tyson in Mike Tysons Punch out, beat Metroid, Castlevania, and figured out the minus world in the first Mario brothers. For GTA 6 I am just open to seeing what they have made. RDR2 is just unbelievably great that I can't envision another game holding that accomplishment of a story/world design. I do hope when Online is out it will be fleshed out (especially heist/robberies day one) instead of them building it up slowly getting back what GTA V now has.

The thing that’s kind of a dealbreaker for me is the content that was exclusively Online in V not being there in VI. There is absolutely no excuse for not building those business or car collecting mechanics into the core gameplay experience and making it something you actually have to invest your time in to keep afloat rather than just getting a call every so often. Not really because the mechanics themselves are important, thought I’d like them, but because of how it’s indicative of how Rockstar sees this game. If they want to flesh out the single player experience to make it worthwhile, then you know they take the game seriously as a game and not just a money making machine. But if all the interesting stuff is locked away in GTA Online 2? That’s a serious red flag right from the outset. That’s really what the test of the game is for me. Whether the changes in Rockstar’s staff and leadership in the past while have actually effected the core Rockstar game experience all that much to the point the difference between these games is so stark as to be unrecognisable or whether the core GTA experience remains consistent between them all in spite of those BTS changes.

Idk why everybody is afraid of gta6 flopping, Rockstar has a crazy track record. It’s likely to be a very good game lmao.

I really hope they don't make you maintain and take care of your car like they made you feed your horse and give it tonics in RDR2. If they do I'd like there to be a setting, Rockstar doesn't give very many options when it comes to settings that relate to actual gameplay, I think it's time for difficulty settings or something alike. Another thing is that if there's looting, which I feel like there will be, they need to speed it up, make it smooth and clean. I don't like the slowness of looting in RDR2. At the end of the day I and I would think many others would like to just "go" and not be slowed down by certain things. Those are my couple of things I'd like some adjustments to if they do bring over these types of features from RDR2.

I’d like to see more interactive places, like in gta 4. - Getting a burger and eat it, - New buildings you can actually go into, with activities like: card games, a bigger casino with new games, a chill cafe. - A park you can do activities like sit on a bench, picnics with different foods and places to chill out on, and maybe a pool you can swim in. - (My favorite suggestion) Cafe’s where you can chill, order coffee or cakes and sit down and relax to the atmosphere with friends or by yourself. - New Restaurants to order food in, - new interactions in future apartments, like going to the bathroom, brush teeth, use the toilet, taking a bath and wrap yourself in a towel. - New hairstyles are a feature we really need, - New clothing and customizable with dyes and accessories. Like new long gloves that can be equipped with whatever outfit you have. No limit. These are just a few suggestions for the more atmospheric and interactive world approach. I do hope they add more things like this though. Just small

Given how big the next game is rumored to be they're going to have to have lots of strangers and characters and side stories to fill that space. I think they will preserve the need to have an interactive open world like RDR2 did because, why not? I think, i hope GTA6 will be everything RDR2 is and more. An open ended game that is so expansive that you could (if you wanted to) play it forever. I still see new things in Rdr2, whether its dialogue or if i just play it a different way, etc.

If the way missions work hasn't changed GTA VI is just not going to be nearly as fun as it could be, I like the idea of playing RDR2 but thinking again about doing the missions sounds like a complete chore

Do want gta 6 to release on xbox series and ps5. Want to see what they can do with those ssd. We see what that can do with the ps4 and xbox in in rdr2 and that is still an amazing game.

+RPG mechanics from San Andreas. +Different fighting Styles like san Andreas. Mele combat has been very lacking from rockstar as of late. Maybe it's not really their focus but that made san Andreas so much more cooler. Going to a dojo a boxing gym and learning MMA moves. +Be really cool to see the hair growth system from rdr2 so who knows could be in there or not. + Weight gain, weight loss and body bulding. Again another thing from San Andreas. + Interaction with NPCs. I have to disagree with you saying it's just there in rdr2 to feed the honour system. Rockstar has always looked for ways to have interactivity with the world and especially with NPCs. It makes you feel apart of the world and GTA 6 would greatly benefit with it. Its always been there in GTA san Andreas where you can only respond positively or negatively to NPCs interacting with you. GTA 5 had it. Kinda you just approach an NPC and press down or something and the protagonist would say something. To my knowledge it was first introduced properly in bully. Rdr2 wouldn't have it without bully so having the greet or antagonize system in GTA 6 would be good. It isn't pointless it just one of them small things that would really add to the game maximizing immersion.

You say that you'd want the cops to remember you for a bit after a crime, but thats literally what happens in GTA 5 when your wanted level is blinking. It means they're not actively chasing you but they'll recognize you if you get close to them. How's that different from remembering your face or car?

I swear to Christ almighty that if GTA6 Online doesn’t run on dedicated servers and uses the peer to peer bs again that’ll seriously kill the game for me. They can’t even control their games from hackers so I’d hope they learn their lesson. It won’t fix every problem but it’ll be a very good start

It's called Grand Theft Auto VI. Let's be honest here. There's a bunch of marketing that goes behind naming your product. It's simple, effective, gets the point across. No bullshit. DLCs can be given a new subtitle. It would be incredibly dumb to name the next game anything other than VI.

Remaster gta 4 doesn’t sound bad. Maybe fix the gun play a bit but leave mostly everything else in tact sounds great. Though rockstar knows they spent 2 billons of dollars making gta 6 (allegedly i heard this but not sure thats true.).

I hope to see elections features. Actually lobbying and campaigning and occupying public office at both state and federal levels. The character you choose gets limited access to the political spaces depending on their histories. And features of political power to affect certain aspects of the game. (economy, crime, national conversations, track records) Ai's rapid development should be incorporated into the game to have FIB initiate investigations depending on whatever thresholds have been applied.
