Enjoy my personal list of 5 things I hate about the 2nd generation Lexus IS models. These are very great cars, and there is definitely more to love then hate. But I go over the 5 things that I, as well as other owners, hate. Do you have anything you could add to the list?

Thanks for the sharing, for a single or couple, space is good enough. The unbeatable exterior emits incredibly delightful message whenever I look at my IS 250 2nd. IS 250 2nd is a perfect art as a car and I enjoy the every minute with it.

Commented your other video on liking the car. I missed this one. I agree with all the things that you can dislike about the car. Only issue with mine is the one cup holder and carbon buildup in my 250. Thankfully I treat that every 50k miles for like 200 bucks with some sort of cleaning. Otherwise a great car.

Luckily I haven't had to deal with any carbon build up! But only $200 every 50k definitely isn't bad at all!

We actually did! It's in another video, but I wanted to show people what they'll most likely get if they buy one of these cars! The Vline2 changes the car completely though!

I bought CRC Intake Valve Cleaner and sprayed in into the intake manifold to hopefully help with the carbon buildup problem. It's only $15.99 so I think it's worth doing every oil change or so. I did it for the first time the other day and lots of smoke came out the exhaust.

can you not just use an injector cleaning that you put in your petrol tank every now and then?

@@sonnyday6830 In order to clean the intake valves you have to manually clean them which takes awhile, or do what I did. I have a GDI engine, so the gasoline is injected directly into the cylinder. Normal port injection vehicles have gasoline injected above the intake valves that clean them. So fuel additives in the gas tank will do nothing to remedy carbon build up on GDI engines.

I miss my 2008 IS350. It was totaled in a rear end accident 😢. I have a Mercedes now but I miss my 350. Solid car. The only weakness and thing to hate about the 250 is carbon buildup in the direct injection engine. Be sure to either walnut blast it (if it’s terrible), or every 40-50k miles you do a fuel induction cleaning to clean the valves. You need to be on top of that, carbon buildup can ruin your car and you’ll need a new engine.

That's sad! I havent driven an IS350 of the 2nd gens but want too! Yeah I have treated it for the carbon build up! That's the bad thing about the engines, and it's just not really a very exciting engine 🙄

I think after 2010 You could grab IS350 with AWD btw.

You can change the radio bro they got aftermarket radios that fit

Which ones? I have the Grom unit and it's great, but you can't really change out just the radio because it's the entire center

I mean sure you can complain about them but that’s what you get when you buy a sports sedan. Buy a bigger car if you need it. Only real point he has is the cupholder thing, yea that’s dumb. But like saying the car is slow? Yea bro you get the 2.5L what’d you expect to be keeping up with the 350? CarPlay and android auto was invented until 2014. Not sure what he was expect with that let alone yes there are way to change the screen which also comes with climate etc
