summary of the video: 1. avoid vague platitudes(instead be as much specific as you can and avoid vague general statements) 2. avoid writing irrelevant pre-college experiences( if you mentioned this part be care that these almost outdated info are highly related to your purposes and goals.) 3. do not state bunch of courses you have taken in BA or MA (just mention relevent courses to the program) 4. state projects and experiencs related to the position or(if the experiences are irrelevant write about the skills that you have learnt from them which you can bring to this new field) 5. talk about your future career aspirations (long term and short term goals)

Also, what would you recommend if one feel the industry isn’t there in the field they wanna work in their home country and the kind of job market in that field, so that’s the reason of pursuing Masters. Would that constitute to a negative statement or it would be taken as a genuine and realistic example.

I think a nice blend of all three. You briefly describe what you did and where you did it, you reflect on the lessons, then link back to your course (how everything motivates you to pursue the chosen course). Hope this helps :)

Discuss your career goals and why the program will help you achieve them. Then, when you talk about your past experiences, only bring up the ones where you gained transferable skills that can be applied in the field of AI or anywhere in your career.

Of course, if you are applying for an undergraduate program, you will mention your pre college achievements, specifically focusing on your 4 years of High School. What he said in the video was targeted towards Master's and PhD applicants only. Since, they have experienced 3-5 years of college, it's relevant for them to mention those college achievements.
