It depends on what job.. who want a job in Zim and get paid $100 per month Go start projects and be your own boss

The funniest thing I found among Zim is fear , I have Chineese and Nigerian friends who came to Zim, those guys are doing very well , if someone from outside can see opportunities , why not us , some come without anything , within a period of time, they will be driving and staying in good areas .wen I move around I see a lot of opportunities in shortages of water, electricity uncollected waste accommodation, retail.the way we were taught is after school university then find a job .if we change that way of thinking , and adopt the Nigeria type of thinking , of creating opportunities .we will not be chased away like dogs from other countries .lest use what we have .

The most amazing peace of advice i have read so far. Many people see opportunities in our country which we do not see ourselves. I have a Nigerian friend too who is wanting to come and do investment in Zim.

Thank you ..... me n hubby we considering coming back home nxt yer for gòod. life in other countries is tough, yes kuZim zvakapressa but i always ask myself kyt ko vari ikoko vanozvigona sei. Atleast i wl be free in my country plus close to my relatives plus free to speak my language n teach my kids our culture n lunguage. Plus what i miss most about Zim is it is a Godly nation n peaceful opposite to where we living now. Yes we making money bt we miserable n not happy n no social time at all.
I agree with you. There is no life in foreign land

I love how you said "just cos home is home, it doesn't mean its right for you" Most people just sugarcoat things and say home is home. The reality is that home may not be right for everyone.

No worries at all! Thought it would be helpful information :) I agree with you 100% on being the happiest in Zim! As much as things are tough, Zim does put you at your happiest! :)

We don't give jobs in Zimbabwe we rather give you Ownership. We hate employment . We created our own different type of economy. Own gold mines ,land , create your own thing stop crying like a child we've been on this for years . We are happy everything changed we are not slaves of employment any more . The problem is those who are outside they want employment . Here we own our businesses we don't print a CV . It's changed we are happy . We owns everything

Our country requires job creation due to many presenting opportunities that exit. The best thing fir young people returning home is to identify a project in manufacturing and buy machinery and equipment even very small. That would help to start up a project which you will self employ and expand as you progress. Otherwise looking for someone to give you a job is a dead-end route.

I think someone should open a school to teach people how to open businesses. How can people just be trained to 'work 'for whom.

why would someone in the diaspora be planning to get a job in Zim though. with all the knowledge acquired abroad, you guys are the one that are supposed to start businesses and resuscitate the economy in the process

This is important. Thanks for sharing. I particularly loved the part that Zimbabwe is safe because it confirms what we've been reading from international tour agencies and other sources that Zimbabwe is one of the safest countries in the world and that Zimbabweans are generally polite and friendly. I hope you or someone will do a video about that. Thinking of visiting with the whole family after Covid-19 lockdowns.

As a South African woman I understand what you are talking about ,but my sister home is home ,it was also tough for the ANC returnees in 1990 ,but they came home ,it was tough but they stayed and struggled like any one ,so Zimbabweans should learn to start some where ,No country will give you permanent residence and identity document ,it is the law

Thank you endless Prisca, We are indeed considering moving back to Zim. My husband is from Vic Falls & has been in the US with me for (7) years now, but we miss the culture & people of Zim terribly. Your advise is hugely helpful & a reminder to my husband's words to have everything planned out. If you were able to return with the ability to buy a home out right & have your own business, do you think it would be a bit easier or more realistic? And a bit of a monthly income? Thanks again.
@blackdynastyrsa6582 жыл бұрын
If the issue of jobs were raised by a South African, we'd be told to start businesses instead of looking for a job. It's like Africans and the world are coniving against SAns.

Very decent and informative presentation. Let me add a bit more. Wherever you are use that opportunity to put things together before relocating back home. If you are able buy yourself a home. That is thing number one. If you can afford 2 aah hallelujah! It doesn't have to be one of these fanciful stupid so called mansions. A house in the so called high density areas will do just fine. With a little bit of alterations here and there you can have free lodgings and maybe an income on the side. High density areas are what you find in London etc. Make sure you keep your savings wherever they are. All you need is your card. We have challenges at home and jobs are virtually non existent because of the possible numbers chasing them. If was abroad I would put in a good 20 years then think about going home. Its no idle boast but there are very few places like Zimbabwe if you get your act together.

I think you are doing great taking Zim as it comes, sometimes you are where you are because thats where you are supposed be🌼🌸Its just seasons. If you don't mind me asking,has your deposition on moving to Zim changed now? Would you still move back having lived there now? and btw, no judgement. ❤&💡 to you😘
@PriscaRuvimbo4 жыл бұрын
Thank you! Compared to my first year here since i came back, my deposition has changed for sure. I don't necessarily regret moving back at all because i am happier here than i was back in China. It's just that the situation here in Zim is tough and if you are not careful, it can potentially lead one to depression. However, i learnt to look at this situation from a positive light/perspective and it's helped me take the days as they come :) I don't think i'd move back to where i was before, i am much happier here! :D
