I stuttered as a child as well as Tourette’s. I was severely abused in every way except sexual abuse. I was blessed by the grace of God to able to defeat them into adulthood and beyond. God bless this young man for coming forward. 🙏🙏

Completing my sentences for me was nice for a bit because I could finally get to rest after shoving all those words out of my throat, but then I realized how bad it felt, that they couldn't wait for me to say 1 sentence even though I listened to their monologue. My family for a bit found "the magic phrase" "Just breathe." Yeah, didn't help just stressed me out, especially being annoyed with me for not "just breathing". Thankfully the couple that said it, realized it didn't actually work and stopped but now some attention divert as if they can pause me for a second then come back into the conversation like talk to a pet while I'm talking or scroll through their phone. Keep at it and keep speaking! You CAN talk! ♦

That’s the worst! Completing sentences can be nice at times but I think it’s good for people to avoid it. Thanks for watching!

Stuttering is such an overwhelming thing we have to deal with daily. I also stutter and it's a very frustrating and exhausting problem due to the fact that you can't control or predict whenever it will happen... . It's the worst when I go to the University, mostly because of the presentation I have to make and because I cannot make any friends to study and have fun with 😢. I have to always fake that I am fine around others...

Or you can accept that people will do/say whatever they think or want and get over it, regardless of the particular issue that we may or may not have. It's just life/people, don't worry too much about it~ 😉 But if you're telling people what to do/not to do around you, then you can be sure they are going to do the exact opposite... My question now is, do you stutter while you think/in your mind too?
@jannis.grossmann2 ай бұрын
you are very brave making this step! but you know that you can get rid of stuttering almost completely. I stuttered myself and while doing my therapy it went better and better, thanks to my friends who supported me and gave me recognition. With all due respect...listeners do not have the patience to listen to a stutterer...that is not meant to be rude....they might need to be somewhere and the stutterer is holding them up.....folks might help by saying words stutterers cant say because stutterers struggle.....we live in a fast pasted world and folks are always rushing!!! okay, but for the same reasons that some silly grown-ups like you apparently don’t have the “patience” or “time” or whatever to listen to them, stuttering is low key kinda based and epic, because it’s inherently anti-capitalist and “time” is just a capitalist construct 😎😎😎🫨🫨🫨👹👹👹 get rekt + L + ratio 😹😹😹
