But why does it matter? In fact, they could have implemented little changes in the dialogues or even in the events after the fight based in what have you done before the fight so you would have even more endings. But it was so frustrating for me spawning again at the entrance of the castle just to discover that Ganon is still there, Zelda is still trapped, and all I did was in vain, I'd love to see and even help to rebuild Hyrule next to Zelda in the post game but I guess it is what it is :(

​@@sac4637I feel the same way. It's really sad that it feels like you didn't actually save Hyrule. I will say that all the Zelda games to my knowledge do this. I have completed every Zelda game, but I have played almost all of them. I think it stands out more in BOTW because everyone is obsessed over it and it is still a major issue where in other games, like Twilight Princess, the people didn't really know what was going on, and Hyrule was about the same as if it was saved. As long as you didn't go in Hyrule Castle, you wouldn't really know minus the bokoblins and enemies. I feel like BOTW puts such an emphasis on the calamity that even after you defeat him, it doesn't feel like you actually did. I personally feel like if the made the devine beast stop Lazering Hyrule Castle, alt or stop the worried dialog about the calamity or destructions caused by it, it would feel a lot more like you saved Hyrule. However, I think it's just because I've played so many Zelda games, but if they added a little on like I mentioned before, I think I could personally feel a bit sad because it's not like the other Zelda games. I also feel the same way about link not only being in his green tunic and green hat. Don't get me wrong, ToTK and BoTW both have outstanding features, but I really do kind of miss the lack of features. Like, dungeons, epona, master sword, green tunic, ect. Like, mechanically ToTK and BoTW are amazing. I would just like to at least have a spin off of the older games again.

as disappointing as it was that all you get from beating ganon is a crappy star next to your save file. It does make sense why, because implementing all the changes like making all guardians inactive and changing a lot of dialogue to be "post calamity" would be a monumental task for something most people wouldn't experience. But i do wish they had SOME changes even if you reverted the save file. Having some sort of bonus items or enemy spawns when you have said star in the save file.

Yeah. I've played most of Zelda games and it's starting to get annoying how it's always the castle that gets destroyed or taken over etc, also always Ganon. Hopefully the next game will have a different story and still take place in Hyrule

@@Forlfir I mean i kind of enjoy that its the same everytime, because it creates a whole new way to get to the boss, and the boss is always cool because ganon is amazing. Try Phantom Hourglass tho, that's different in so many ways.

They could just do exactly the same that they did with the divine beasts bosses in the DLC, people could defeat Ganon all the times the want, and even get some achieves for it, and you could finally see Zelda save and sound and Hyrule in peace, or even help to rebuild the kingdom in the post game

I understand why, but when I did defeat him I was so disappointed when it just plopped me back in front of his room. Same disappointment with horizon zero dawn but at least the boss in botw is good unlike horizon.

Having Zelda as a companion too. I just love the dynamic that a team up between the two leads of the franchise brings.

Radiation vs insulated. The flame breaker is like a firefighter suit. It's meant to not catch fire, but because it's insulated. You'll boil alive in the heat. Look up firefighter taking off boot after work. Gerudo gear is meant to keep you cool by reflecting the heat and allowing it to radiate from your body. A cool fan or air is wicking heat from your body, and it can't do that if it's insulated without a heat exchange somewhere.

@Icey age of calamity isn't canon, the hyrule warriors games are in an alternate timeline. so yes aoc technically is a prequel to botw in the sense that it takes place before the events of botw, just in an alternate universe.
