I feel you bro. I just started my cargo van business about a month ago. Its bn a lil shakey just running off one gig app which is Roadie. I dont do the food apps...the pay is really bad. If you get into this business your goal should not be Gigs or brokers/dispatch... Your main goal is to get running directly with customers. Cutting out all middle men saving the customer money and putting that money in your pocket. Dont be scared to get on the phone or go in person, highly suggest business cards and seeing if you're able to get them quotes on lanes.

Just surfin some vids seeing what ya'll 4 wheeler's going through. Got my CDL's in 94 with about 20 total yrs exp. in and out of the game over the years, hers is a bone toss for you or any viewers, The CDL game is highly highly dangerous now, compared to when I came in. Far more will fail. Why? the amount of imbecile big truck drivers on the roads. I don't even roll the winter months anymore because of them, and I even got experience sliding tankers all over the ice in ND oil fields, its not about skill, its about the dice finally rolling craps where skill wont matter, and those odds are stacking. My record is 100% clean, and staying that way....be safe and roll easy ya'll.
