You forgot the most important thing. Make sure this is not icloud lock. Make sure laptop is the laptop is no longer in previous owner account. Also make sure no EFI password. Otherwise this MacBook pro will be locked out! ✌🏽

@@FyonahKReacts make sure she made a backup of her hard drive via time machine. She can use time machine to save it on a external hard drive or iCloud. Then you have to erase everything and reset it to factory settings. After that you can register it to your iCloud account. The reset will also get rid of any malicious or useless software. You can watch KZfaq videos on erasing macs and tr byansferring in your iCloud information.

For the screen issue use baby wipes and remove it in 5 minutes I did it on mine after searching for a solution on KZfaq.

Also check if it is iCloud connected to someone’s account or if it is connected to some company’s remote network. Write that in search in youtube.
