That's what we heard! Most of the tourists we saw were from the UK actually ;) But, we still found many quiet spots, could've been due to being there in the off-season 😀

Inside Our Suitcase. You will find that’s in laganas. I’ve been going to Zákynthos for 13years plus. And I’m from the UK. But I do try to avoid laganas and the 18/30s thing. But. If you go there early on when the party animals are still in there caves. It’s another beautiful part of the island. Especially cameo island witch is just along the beach from laganas. As in most holiday resorts there’s places to avoid (kind off). Don’t be put off this beautiful place because of a few bad reports.

Laganas is where the kids go partying avoid this resort in July & August. We have been to Zante seventeen times . In our opinion Alekes is the best resort beautiful beach , lovely bars , lovely restaurant, lovely people , the little town has everything you need , approximately 30 restaurants, 25 Bars , loads of small tevernas , late night music bars . Sport bars , live music venues. Spikeys bar open to 4am . So ideal for families, couples , solo traveler. . We also like Tsivilli , Argassi , Alakanas , Kalamaki . Stunning island a must visit . The locals treat you like family members , the food is probably the best variety and quality you will find anywhere especially the Lamb dishes . Drinks the wine , Cocktails, Mythos larger is so so good . Happy Holidays.

@@Goatsontheroad i was bit of a party animal and in laganas there was a cocktail bar i tried ordering in greek but the way i said it came out as large the cocktails were to easy to drink i walked along the beach and fell asleep woke up sudanly with a cold feeling on my crutch then movement 4 crabs crawled up my shorts and made a nest never drunk that much again my name is sam mary is my wifes name i cant seem to change it
